Since I've lost a bit of weight, I went rummaging through my closet to see if I could fit into any of my old clothes. Well, I found some black pants that I haven't worn in about two years and put them on today. I think I underestimated their snugness because I feel like the pants are cutting my circulation.

I have already unzipped/unbuttoned the pants and am hiding that fact with my shirt and office sweater.

I may try again after 5 more lbs.

And Thursday Random/Confession: I need to buy a grill, but I don't know how to grill. I guess I could always Google it.

@MrsJenE I'm terrified of grills. J does all the outside cooking. I know I would stop being afraid if I just learned how to use me, but it scares the shit out of me.

Hubster does all the grill cooking too. Though I will cook over a campfire. Guess it's not really any scarier?

My random:
My goddaughter has an ear infection, so she's spending the day with me instead of going to daycare.
I love spending the time with her, but I wish I hadn't gotten the question if I could take care of her at close to midnight (when I was still awake), especially since she was dropped off at 5 am.

@snshne322 H likes to be the person who takes care of the outside cooking, which is why I never learned. HOWEVER, I think it's mostly a male pride thing because he doesn't actually enjoy it. When I told him I'm buying a grill this weekend, he said, "No, we're fine. We don't need one." This probably came from his lack of actually wanting to grill. My response was, "I'm teaching myself to grill so don't bother trying to discourage me."

@MrsJenE I think I'll take a page from your book! J is the same, he doesn't actually enjoy grilling. He does it because he thinks he should. I've always wanted a smoker too, but I'll have to learn how to use that as well if I can justify getting it.

@Hoycie congrats on the weight loss!! I actually got rid of most of my smaller size clothes, which probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, but I haven't needed them yet.

@RevJen maybe some new summery shoes or sunglasses?

I think you mentioned awhile ago that you were going to buy a CX-5. Did you end up getting it? I'm going to be car shopping in the next 3-6 months and I love the CXs. The 9 is too big and I think the 5 replaced the 7, right? Did/do you like it? I don't need anything huge, but I'd like AWD and back hatch.

MH's work trip to Greece didn't get funded, so no Greece for me this summer. Instead we are going to visit my friend who is a professor and teaching a term in Florence right now. And this might be flameful or better for a confession tomorrow, but I'm really thinking about buying some Crocs sandals for my trip...

I LOVE IT!!!!! !! I didn't do the AWD because I wanted the gas mileage. I would have lost 2 mpg with the AWD. It's not a big deal for most but I'm driving 60 miles one way to get to work so it's a big deal for me. The trunk space is huge. I have yet to fill it completely either with groceries or anything else. I did get the rollback cover as an add-on feature since it didn't come with a trunk cover.

I don't regret the decision one bit. I have it in Blue Reflex/black interior. It shows dust but it won't show stains, which is why I got it. I spend so much time in the car that spills happen.

I'm glad for the glowing review! I want to test drive one in the next month or so to see if it's something I would like driving.

June is looking pretty good for me, beyond the 7th. Though I don't know that J would appreciate Father's Day either. Silly men.

I love to grill. I finally sucked it up last year and learned how to use the grill. Now I love to grill veggies, pizza and fruit.

I still let my husband grill the steaks though. He can't cook, but no one is better at grilling up a filet like him.

DH ruined our last two grills because he doesn't believe that you can smother the flames by closing the lid and that it must instead be drowned in water that he doesn't drain from said grill, thereby creating rust. I find this extremely annoying.

We can't have a charcoal or propane grill at our current location since we're renting instead of in a parsonage. I would like to get an electric grill instead, since this eliminates the combustibles side of the problem as well as the need to drown the grill, but we have no $$.

I got mine too! Do you like it? I haven't tried packing anything in it, other than my work laptop that was too big, but I want to maybe try it out this weekend. I love the color.

I opened a window upstairs last night and it didn't have a screen on it. I let in a bee apparently because I found it in my kitchen. Its currently trapped between the door and the screen door. If I have to leave the house today, I'm leaving via the back deck or seldom used front door.
