Mon:  Something with Haddock (not yet decided on which recipe)

    Tues:  Steaks

Wed:  garlic and herb roasted pork loin

Thurs:  Spinach and Feta Turkey Burgers (These will show up on my menu most weeks, as my husband would want these every other day if given the option.  I make a batch (minus the egg - I left it out by accident one time and didn't notice any difference, so I don't bother with it now.) and put them in the freezer for at least an hour after forming into patties, then cook up half the batch that night and leave the rest in the freezer for the following week.  I cook them straight from the freezer.)  I serve these on grilled flatread or pita halves with some tzatziki.   EDIT: I should mention that I modify the recipe slightly by adding 2-3 tbsp worcestershire, and 1-2 tbsp basil and smoked paprika to the burger mixture.  I also saute the garlic and spinach on the stove before mixing.  Just in case anyone decides to try this recipe, as otherwise they might be a bit bland and not omg-these-are-awesome.

Fri:  Chicken dinners from my son's football fundraiser

    Sat:  Probably pizza

    Sun:  Take out spiedies
  • Monday: grilled pork chops and sweet potatoes

    Tuesday: something with chicken

Wednesday: brats and kraut on the grill with a carrot slaw

Thursday: out to eat with my dad

    Friday: grad party food

So, so, so good.  My husband has given up all other burgers, which if you knew him would know is a very big deal.  He said he never wants another beef burger again, and he wants me to make these at least once a week.

My mom always made this: shred the carrots in the food processor (or by hand).  Add some raisins.  Salt and pepper.  The dressing is Miracle Whip (I bought light) thinned out with some vinegar (apple cider if you have it).  Toss together about an hour before dinner.  It is sweet and sour and crunchy and tangy.
