Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

  • I had some IT band issues last week, but still got in 3 30 Day Shred workouts

    This week:
    Mon - 30 Day Shred Level 1
    Tues - Trying Level 2 (Hopefully, it's not too crazy!)
    Wed - Rest
    Thurs - 30 Day Shred Level 2
    Friday - 30 Day Shred Level  2

  • Last week was an abysmal failure in both the food and exercise arena.  This week is already much better.  I got a FitBit and I am obsessed with it, plus I've been out on my bike.

    I highly recommend a FitBit, I had no idea how sedentary I was.  Desk job woes :(

  • We went to the gym 2 days last week and are supposed to go everyday this week. Yesterday we did chest and cardio and today will be arms and Zumba. I've never taken Zumba before so I hope it's fun.

  • I worked out twice at the gym last week and did some laps and other exercise in the pool one day.  I got some kind of stomach bug over the weekend, so unfortunately didn't get to do much.  Definitely going to the gym tonight and at least 4 more times this week.

    I just did 30 Day Shred Level 2! OMG, Jillian Michaels you are CRAZY! I was sweating in places that I didn't know I could sweat. I laid down on my yoga mat when the 20 minutes of torture was done and I kept saying "I'm dead, I must be dead, that definitely killed me!" 

    I know that Level 2 will get easier over time, just like Level 1 did. I can't even imagine what Level 3 is like!

    LOL I have done that EXACT same thing after doing a JM Shred workout!! She is no joke!

  • My mom brought my bike down two days ago and my trailer hitch and bike rack arrived yesterday! H just needs to install them and get his bike from his parents. Our neighborhood is WAY too hilly to ride in, but hopefully soon!

  • I've walked every day this week at least 2-3 miles. I went for double the walk this morning because J had just fallen asleep and I wanted to prolong his nap.
