DH and I sat down with the RE yesterday to talk about our options. The RE said that he was really surprised that it didn't work since the cycle went perfectly and looked beautiful until beta draws. He wants us to move forward with IVF. Obviously we were very surprised since we thought we would be doing another cycle of IUI. We asked about it, and he said that it was an option if we want, but also said he would like to see us put our money to something more affective like IVF. His concern is that there is something going on in my tubes like endometriosis and is not detectable without surgery. I am starting birth control tonight, and we will be beginning the fresh frozen cycle next month. Hopefully everything will go as well as IUI cycle but with a BFP at the end!

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

Wow, what a jump! Glad to hear that you and YH are ready to move forward! GL to you!
BTW, what is a "fresh frozen cycle"? Does that just mean you'll freeze the extra embies after your fresh transfer to potentially use later?
DE IVF ER - 12/2/2016 (17R/10F = 8 frosties); FET 1.0 (1/27/2017) - BFP 6dp5dt (EDD 10/16/2017)

@FutureMrsWright2012 Fresh frozen is where they wait until the next cycle to implant. He explained that he wants the injectables out of my system before implanting them because they have found better results this way. The embies will be frozen for the month until they then get the lining thicker and my ute prepared for implantation.

It can be a more effective route for sure, but the costs are so much higher that many people give more IUIs a chance when there is no proven barrier. Have you had a HSG? Was it normal?
