  *Long, general update*

  
  

  We have decided to put off adoption until next year or possibly even longer. I am perfectly okay with that decision. The last couple of years have been full of stress/loss etc. and we need a break. I have also been dealing with some depression and anxiety issues and want to make sure that is well-managed before jumping into another stressful life event (fortunately I seem to be feeling better and on the right path). 

  
  

  For now we are just enjoying being married and living in our new house in a new part of town. We are continuing to save extra cash so we can be well-prepared financially when the time comes. We've had a couple of generous friends and family help us a little financially and we intend to keep that money in savings for adoption costs. 

  
  

  I am okay with waiting. We aren't even 30 yet and have time. I have also been going to a new church that has been wonderful so far. I have shared my story with a few people and they have all been kind and supportive. Huge difference from our old church which pressured people incessantly to have children and then told me I was being selfish for grieving and being upset over 3T. I didn't realize how abusive and manipulating my old church was until we left and I started going to a church that appears to be much more healthy.
