    1) Goals? My current goal is to not gain weight while I'm on stims and have restrictions on my exercise

    2) How has your progress been this week? I lost a pound and a half last week so I was pleased with that

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? I'm still eating a very low calorie diet but while I'm on stims all I'm allowed to do is 'brisk walking' so that's change my exercise regime a bit.

    4) Best part of your week? Dh wanting to go with me to my monitoring appointment yesterday.  He is being so supportive and sweet, and has shown so much interest in every little detail that it just makes me fall even more in love with him.

    5) Worst part of your week? Yesterday afternoon I was really frustrated with the low dose I'm on with my stims.  I know that the doctors know what they are doing and they are taking me slow to help make sure I don't overstimulate but I thought I'd be further along after a week (even though they told me at the beginning it'd be a long process).  So I let my frustration get the best of me and put myself in a sour mood for most of the morning.

QOTW: What are your go-to healthy snacks? Fruits and veggies.  I love fresh fruit and I also like to dip baby carrots in light ranch.  Popcorn is also a favorite when I want something salty.

    2) How has your progress been this week? I don't think I lost anything.  I also wasn't great on my diet.

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? T25 and trying to eat better

    4) Best part of your week? I can tell I am getting better at doing my workouts and am trying to push a little harder each time.

    5) Worst part of your week? I ate way too much sugar :-/

    1) Goals? Lose 50 lbs by January

    2) How has your progress been this week? Really good. Down almost 10 lbs total now (although I think a lot of that is water weight).

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)? Track my food using MFP and some walking. Right now, I'm working outside, so I'm hoping that the heat helps burn some extra "junk in the trunk"

    4) Best part of your week? Meeting a ton (like 40-50) local nesties over two days. It was epic.

    5) Worst part of your week? DH & I have been bickering a lot more lately over stupid stuff. :(

QOTW: What are your go-to healthy snacks? Lately it's been low-calorie ice cream because it's so flippin' hot outside. I love the WW english toffee bars.

  • @xan921 Don't get too down on yourself about weight gain during stims.  The first time I didn't watch my diet choices during stims and gained 5 lbs.  This last time I watched my food choices very well and gained 5 lbs.   Obviously you don't want to unwind all the hardwork you've done, but don't discredit that some things are out of your control during stims.  The good news is that those 5 lbs came off quickly after the bloat went away.

I know it's frustrating to not be moving quickly with stims, but they really do know what they are doing. I hope things start rolling soon.  It'll be over before you know it! Hang it there, it SUCKS to play the hurry up and wait game.

    3T<3

  • 1. Goals?

Lose about 60 lbs, and just feel better about myself.

    2. How has your progress been this week?

Not too good.  Work was stressful and busy all week, didn't eat as healthy as I have been, and too tired to go walking or hiking after work.

    3. What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?

Eat healthy, cook more at home instead of going out.  Walking and hiking has been my workout, need to get back to doing that at least 3 times a week.

    4. Best part of the week?

It was not a good week, best part was when it was over.

    5. Worst part of the week?

    Work was insane,

QOTW:  What are your go-to healthy snacks?

Hummus with pita, or veggies.  Fruit

  • I love carrots and hummus. My professor for summer class invited the class to his home for a pizza party and served amazing olive hummus, I wish I knew where he got it.
"I said what I meant and I meant what I said, an elephant's faithful 100%" Dr. Seuss, Horton Hatches The Egg. My Ovulation Chart Ttc buddies with LexiMS!
  • 1) Goals?
I've decided to train for a fitness competition.  It's totally out of character for me, but something I've always wanted to do.  Just never thought I could actually do it.  I'm going to train for 12 weeks and see where I am at.  After that, I'll probably sign up for a competition and start training again.  This first 12 weeks is just a trial to make sure I can pull off the regimen.

    2) How has your progress been this week?
Pretty good!  I'm very proud of myself for not breaking down and eating all the crap that was put in front of me over the weekend.  Worked out Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Had a rest day yesterday but going tonight and for the rest of the week.

    3) What is your "plan" (diet, workout regime, etc)?
Sticking with a low carb diet.  Eating tons of protein, veggies, a little fruit and whole grains.  Doing about 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight training.  I'm hoping to add an at home program sometime this week for another 30 minutes of so of high intensity interval training.

    4) Best part of your week?
Committing to this goal, as cheesy as that sounds.

    5) Worst part of your week?
The house A/C breaking and needing to be replaced, the garage door opener breaking and needing to be replaced, and our cars starter going out and needing to be replaced.  All within a 36 hour period.

QOTW: What are your go-to healthy snacks?
Ezekiel bread with pb, bananas, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, protein bars, carrots, celery with pb, healthy nut mix
