Other than presents not really. We have a joint account and then I have a goat account. I don't explain all my goat purchases to him, but he knows how much money each month goes into that account. He also has a sports account it goes to his softball fees and this year bought new cleats. I don't know all the stuff he buys, but I know how much money goes into the account.

Same as everyone else. Just presents. We have a joint account. He doesn't have a credit card, but he has a seperate account for side money he makes when doing jobs.
Presents, mostly. We have both individual and joint accounts, so unless I need "shared" money for something I don't bother telling him about every little thing, but I don't actively hide stuff from him either.

Like everyone else said, presents. I'm in charge of our finances, so I always know when he gets something. When I buy clothes I don't tell him how much I spend, but he knows I went out. He always tells me I'm the one who knows what we have to spend, so he trusts me. I don't shop often, so it's not a big deal. We always discuss big purchases first, but smaller things, no big. We have a budget where we each have a set amount of spending money a month and we don't have to clear it with each other.
We each have our own accounts and a joint account for house stuff. We don't really share what we spend from our separate accounts. If it's something big, we will tell each other, besides presents.
Presents would be in the majority for hidden purchases. Close second would be that one day where I was hungry and decided to go get breakfast alone since he was at work. I felt bad telling him.

How far are you from Milwaukee? We go to Wisconsin state fair every year.

I wish it was possible to plan one big get together with everyone. How is the Texas state fair?
