I just got back from Target where I argued with the pharmacist about our insurance (he said Sophie isn't covered under our policy, what?) and even though it wasn't his fault because he called our medical insurance instead of our prescription insurance, it was his fault because I pointed to the correct number to call on the card when I handed it to him. So. Frustrating.
I'm going to be a contract recruiter for Sanofi Pasteur for one of their R&D groups in MA. No relocation to MA required. I've been trying to get in there for years so I interviewed with them earlier this summer when I had the chance. The agency called me Monday and asked if I wanted the job. So I'm off. My manager didn't waste any time in getting someone to replace me. He's starting on Monday without his background being complete.

I've been obsessed with the Begin Again soundtrack since last week. I really enjoyed the movie despite having no desire to see it.

GAH! When I saw that you were following the playlist, I got all excited that I had someone to talk to about it! I'm not even a huge Keira Knightley fan, but I adored her in this movie.
I go back and forth with Keira but I loved her in this movie. I also loved Mark Ruffalo but it's very rare that I don't love him and all his grizzled gruffness.
That is his "thing." He's the disheveled guy.

I am going camping all next week in Cherrystone, VA and can't wait! Kayaking, campfires, smores, biking, fishing, digging for clams! Honestly, I wouldn't care where we are going. I am just happy to be able to relax and not think about work.
Umm, a tornado just ripped through the campground this morning. 3 confirmed deaths. 20 plus injuries. I am just so thankful we weren't there. Lots of prayers for these folks and their families.
I saw that! That sounds terrifying! We went camping the first week of July and had a thunderstorm one day. It was scary enough to be in a pop-up camper being rocked and pounded with hail. I can't even imagine being on a campground when a tornado hits.
How awful to hear people were hurt and killed. Sending thoughts & prayers to the familes affected.
I lived through a tornado while camping back in 4th grade. Luckily everyone in my family was okay, and my injuries were minor, but there were other campers who were killed. It was pretty traumatizing and I still have anxiety about tornados. I didn't go camping again until I was in my mid-twenties.
