I assumed it was like some shirtless or naked Christian defacement/Cat memes or something.

I FINALLY finished drafting a YA contemporary MS I started during NaNo a few years ago. I'm terrified it sucks, but junewhatevs. I bit the bullet and sent it to a few CPs this week.
That's exciting. I must have missed your posts about doing this? You should have posted word count updates or something. We could have cheered you on.

  • Not much of a confession, but I am trying to finish the last of my library books before our big move next week to Maryland. I am two books away from being all caught up in the Chicagoland vampires.

I also need to make a list of my holds to repeat when we finally get cards at the new library. I am so excited to be living about half a mile from the central branch!

  • I also confess that I am terrified of getting old.  I noticed saggy skin in places it shouldn't be yesterday.  I always thought I was anti-plastic surgery, now I am re-thinking my position on this.

Now that I've breastfed two kids, I'm rethinking my stance on boob jobs. I wouldn't mind a lift.

  • I hate that mobile nest refuses to allow me to sign in as sfgiantsjo. And if it was going to assign me a weird random account, could it at least have picked a SN that wasn't related to my real one? At least then I could troll other boards. Heh.

Not that I'd be good at it. I'm not a good liar.
  • Dealing with my MIL's stupid digusting hoarder cluttered house has exactly two benefits.
When my husband and I are frustrated with each other, going over there and dealing with her crap lets our frustration with each other go completely away!  Yay for a common..uh...enemy?
The second benefit is our house.  It's never been cleaner.  I made a chore chart a few months ago after dealing with her house one day because I was so thoroughly grossed out that I wanted to be sure that I would never deal with that at home.
We actually gave her a cleaning lecture yesterday after we moved the stove for the kitchen remodel.  What we found underneath was enough for us to say to her.. "Ok, if we are completely gutting your kitchen and remodeling from scratch, you have to promise to keep it clean, because otherwise this is a waste of our time."
Want to know what we found?  Ok, don't be eating lunch or anything.

The floor under the stove was solid with mouse droppings.  How did it get that way?  Because she doesn't clean up after herself.

I need an elbow lift and I also need a butt lift and an under arm lift.  Basically, I need everything lifted.

  • I'm firmly pro-boob job. If/when I have kids, I'll be having one the second I'm done BFing.
I'm right here with you.  I can see myself chickening out because I'm such a baby when it comes to needles and procedures, but I'm hoping that the whole birthing thing will snap me out of that.
