  At first I was just voting the visa giftcard, but I really like that necklace. I think it'd mean a lot and I'm not sure it's something she'd buy for herself. So I vote that (or something similar) and then the rest on a Visa giftcard

  The only hesitation I have with buying someone jewelry is that it may not be her style.  She may not want to have it be obvious that someone passed away and have to answer and re-answer the questions every time she wears it. Now, she may love it and I know she's grateful for us and anything we do, so I don't think we can go wrong.  
  
  But I'd be hesitant to buy someone else jewelry for a memorial.

  The only issue with the visa gc is that some places put a hold on the card like a regular credit/debit card. She may not be able to use it when she wants for what she wants when the funds drop. If she has a check, the funds are easily accessed.

  We got one when I had Baby. A family member got one from her boyfriend at the time. It's the same star.
  
  That being said, it's the thought that counts.

  I don't know if it's too late... But you can have a tree planted in a national forest in memory of someone. It's affordable and helps better the planet. It could be a nice gesture?

  Feb 13 IVF cycle converted down to IUI due to low follicle response... BFFN
  one last IVF attempt April/May 2013: 19 retrieved. 10 fertilized. 2 transferred in a 3dt. 4 frosties... BFP!!
  EDD: 1/21/14... Induced early at 36+6. Our LO was born 12/30/13
