I never ever thought I'd be typing one of these posts but according to the 3 First Response hpt's that I've taken over the last 3 days, I'm pregnant!
I started testing on 12dpiui and thought I saw a tiny bit of a line but figured that was my mind playing tricks on me. Yesterday at 13dpiui, there was a really really faint line and this morning at 14dpiui there is definitely a line. I go in tomorrow morning for a blood test so I'll know for sure by tomorrow afternoon but so far it's looking good. Dh and I, especially Dh, are really hesitant to allow ourselves to get excited until we hear it from the doctor but today I'm hopeful and full of smiles.
The love, support and friendships that I've received through this board are amazing and you all have definitely helped keep me sane and kept me hopeful through all of the bad news, painful surgeries/procedures and just overall crappy IF days. Thank you all so very much from the bottom of my heart for being you.
*UPDATE* So my first beta was only 47. The nurse I spoke with said they like to see a beta of 100 at this point. She told me it could be two scenarios, that the embryo either implanted late or that it's a chemical pregnancy. I go back in on Monday morning for another blood test to see if my numbers have raised or not. Question, do you think taking anymore hpt's would be any kind of indication on if my beta is increasing, like if the line keeps getting darker over the next few days? Or should I just leave it alone and wait it out?

"People talk about escapism as if it's a bad thing... Once you've escaped, once you come back, the world is not the same as when you left it. You come back to it with skills, weapons, knowledge you didn't have before. Then you are better equipped to deal with your current reality."
