My parents are at the Iowa State Fair. I planned on going but my sister is throwing up constantly right now. I would feel terrible saying, "Oh you're exhausted and pukey, I don't care, take care of the farm by yourself."
DH won his league for softball so they are competing for state championship this weekend. One of the guys on the team's 3 year old son broke his femur at a tournament last weekend. He just slipped and it broke, didn't seem like a break was possible. Anyway, it turns out his femur was hollow and had a tumor inside of it. They get test results soon, hopefully it's not something too bad. They are playing for this little boy and they gave him their trophy from last night for winning their division.
So, our weekend is pretty busy.
Saturday- one month pics for Tyrion (free from photographer since he didn't cooperate at newborn session and she couldn't get number of images promised ). After we are all headed to Ribfest as long as T is cooperating.
Sunday- one sister may come up for the day. Hoping my mom wants to help prep a million freezer meals. We still have a bunch from our May cooking day but I'd rather build supply before it's all gone.

@goatlady12 are you from IA too??? How have I missed this the last, say 3 years?!! I love the state fair. I haven't been in years since moving away. That is terrible to hear about your friend's boy!
Tonight we are having some friends over and then going out for a bday.
Tomorrow is probably house stuff and my best friend is coming in town for a wedding, so I'll see her briefly.
Sunday I'll probably have to come in and work due to this deadline! Ugg
I'm from Minnesota, but we show at the IA State Fair every year. I love that fair. I'm really sad I have to stay back this year because we always have so much fun, and eat soooo much pork. We actually do MN, WI and IA state fairs.
H goes back to work on Monday
Saturday - breastfeeding class in the morning. Then going to ikea in Philly to get the crib and other odds and ends.
Sunday - breakfast, grocery shopping, then parents house. I'd also like to get some stuff done around the house. Mostly tell H what u need him to do because I can't wait (scrub tub, give dog a bath...).
