The doctor and nurse seem to think I'm ok to wait until my scheduled appointment tomorrow because I'm not doubling over in pain. They said I could come in today if I wanted to but the fact that I was able to come to work helps indicate that my tube hasn't ruptured or anything that I was affraid of. They told me that I'm fine to take medicine so I took 1500 mg of extra strength tylenol which has taken the edge off.
@islandmonkey8, I'm hoping the same thing. I really hope that the bleeding and pain is a sign of a regular miscarriage and that it was just too small to be able to see via ultrasound on Sunday. While neither outcome is ideal, I'd much prefer that to ectopic.
TTC since March 2012 w/irregular and anovulatory cycles.
Moved to an RE October 2013 HSG- All clear , S/A- Normal , Bloodwork -Normal
My first BFP was actually much like this, except I didn't get betas done until the u/s at 7w. There was nothing to see at the u/s anywhere. My bloodwork seemed to indicate it was ectopic. I actually did end up miscarrying on my own, but I also took the shot just in case (the shot is methotrexate. I was not educated on anything at the time. Had I been, I probably wouldn't have taken the shot since I did miscarry). I didn't have a tube rupture and only had some minor dull aches/cramps. I have questioned with every dr since if it was ectopic or just in the process of miscarrying at the time of u/s. They all concur it was likely ectopic, even though we never actually found anything in my tubes to confirm this.
In any case, I hope that you can begin to move forward soon and look to the future. I know it's hard to do so.
Thanks to our wonderful RE our family is complete!
I'm so sorry again, sweetie. And I hate that you're in pain now, but I hope it means a natural m/c rather than going through shots. I hope this next appt finally brings closure and you can both heal and prepare for your next moves.
((Hugs))
TTC since July 2012
BFP #1: 11/9/13; spontaneous m/c at 6w2d, 11/25/13
Thinking of you this morning, Xan. Sending good vibes. Ectopic is pretty serious, so I just hope it isn't that.
I had a disappearing pregnancy. They thought it may be ectopic but it just kind of disappeared. Nothing more than a *tiny* bit of dark brown spotting. Pregnancy doesn't always make sense or follow a normal route.
I hope there is some peace after all this. You've had a rough journey.

I just received a call from my nurse and my betas dropped from 519 on Sunday to 121 today, so they don't believe it is ectopic afterall but rather just a really early miscarriage that they weren't able to see via ultrasound. I'm so relieved. I go back on Friday for another beta draw and then once it gets back to 0 we can try again if we want.
Whew, I feel like I'm finally able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm glad that it seems that your body is doing what it's supposed to do, but I'm so sorry you're going through this. Be kind to yourself, dear. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts.
