Finally! I've been waiting for this day all week, more than usual. I have my follow-up appointment with a new doctor and find out the results of my blood test. I'm hoping it is something as simple as being anemic and taking an iron pill. I read anemia can cause symptoms of depression.

Anyway, my bil is coming over to our house so he can watch Abby while I am at my appointment. I am happy I will be able to be 100% focused on what the doctor is saying, but nervous because he has never watched her before. Abby loves her uncle.

What is everyone else up to?

Trying to get some things done on my to do list. I have a lot of sewing and cleaning to do.

She'll be just fine for the amount of time you are at the doctor. Try not to worry too much. I know that is easier said than done though!

Thanks Alyssa. Abby did well most of the time I was gone. She started getting sleepy and looking for me the last 10 - 15 minutes. My bil told me she cried nonstop that whole time.

It turns my results for my thyroid came back abnormal so they ordered even more tests. They also think I may have a uti. More money for more tests. Ugh!

@ImpeiumWife‌ I was wondering... are you still subbing this fall? Is there a possibility you could get your old job back? Oh, and my mil made things and put them in a consignment shop to sell. Maybe you could do that to help get started with your business.

Sounds like the doctor appointment was worth it. I hope you can get more answers with these next tests. I know it's more tests and more money but it will be worth it to have the right diagnosis. Glad Abby did so well while you were gone.

I'm just really frustrated this week. I got some back up from the mortgage broker we finally went with. He explained all the math I'd already explained to P. And he gave us a few more options loan wise. It makes me feel a lot better having those options. That was the good news this week. The frustration comes from house hunting. I find listings, go over them with P, we go look, but he rejects most of them. For example he says he has to have a 2 car garage. This really limits what is available especially in our price range. I find a place with everything we want but a 1 car garage. He'll agree to look at it and even tell our realtor he's okay looking at 1 car garages but when we get home it's nonstop on how he won't buy a place with 1 car garage. Ughhhh!!! So we did we go look? Why did you tell the realtor it was okay??? And to end the week, P got in a fender bender on his way home last night. Everyone was okay. He was getting over since someone cut him off and accidentally hit another car. His door is dented with some scratches. He said her front bumper and side were damaged a little. They exchanged info and called the cops. He said they waited a while and no cop showed so they left. He tells me when he gets home it was technically his fault. But now today he is texting me that she told insurance she was injured. And he's ranting that she's going to say it was all his fault. I get that he's angry with himself and frustrated but at the same time he told me it was his fault. So I'm just wondering why today he is saying it isn't. Anywho, I didn't say that to him. I hope he can feel better this weekend and next week since he is on vacation.

Why does he have a need to have a garage so bad? I think one would be more than enough. We use our garage as a shed. Then again we don't have to worry about snow. I wonder if you could convince he maybe you could build an additional garage on the property if that would be ok. Maybe it could be a compromise. I'm sorry he got into a fender bender. Hopefully you guys will be able to straighten things out.

I don't know why he needs 2 car versus 1. In Oklahoma we had a 2 car garage but I was the only one to park in it. As long as we have an oversize 1 car we could still fit his tools and a car. He wants a garage so he can do oil changes and such. I get that. I just don't get why it has to be 2. I tried asking and he just says because. It's inline with having to have a 3rd bedroom for his office instead of a loft. I ask why and it's because.

I could have taken another aide job in the district, but I decided that career wise, subbing would be a better move. And I was pretty okay with that until I had like seven job interviews and didn't get any of them.

A consignment shop might not be a bad idea, thanks for the idea!

I am finally home from work. We might go to a football game tonight but I doubt it. I think I will just be sitting at home resting. Anyone wanna chat?

Meg-glad to hear your appointment went somewhat well and you are getting the help you need.

Alyssa-The big things were are a FB buy and sell site for our local area. Lots of people post on there for selling things. Its like the new craigslist. I would also try craigslist. Both of these are free.

Michelle-Sorry P is being a downer! The right house will come!

Yep. Walked in the door, right into the bedroom, and laid down. He was asleep within minutes. We were supposed to go out shopping and go out to dinner.

I usually like to watch bridal shows on TLC on Fridays but I am too lazy to turn on the TV.

I am usually so busy working at the house, or he is on the computer, that it's really weird to have a night to myself again. This is one of the few times I wish I did have cable though. TLC bridal shows sound like just what I need right now. We finally got to talk about our plans, and I think we have a good idea now.

This one is looking into the bathroom. You can see a small corner of the vanity, the shower on the left, and the jacuzzi tub. I'm actually proud of J, he picked the tile, and I love it.

And newest picture I have of me.... I got voted at Miss Crate and Barrel at my husband's aunt and uncle's party last weekend. Their daughter is the one that got married a few weeks ago, and they had some leftover gift ribbon lying around, and well, put the crazy family together, and this ensued... I ended up hulahooping as the talent. And those pictures will stay on my phone forever.
