    @lindsayandjamie what are butter tarts?

    I didn't realize they were a Canadian thing but I guess they are: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butter_tart Basically they are little tarts filled with the same filling as pecan pie but without the nuts. They have raisin or not, and are very popular in French Canadian baking. Most grandmas know how to knock out a killer butter tart, but I'm happy with store bought too.

  • @simsk3887  I wish that I could reassure you, but PGAL brain still takes over for me too.  One thing that helped was telling myself that we heard the heartbeat, and after you hear it there is only a 5% chance of miscarriage.  That has carried me along, and we've heard the heartbeat at each monthly appointment since.
    Hang in there.  Like @lindsayandjamie said, once you feel movement regularly it may be better, and I'm hoping that will be the case for me too.

    I'll be here if I want to! :)

    For Mommies-to-be:

    How many weeks are you? 4 weeks 2 days. Practically still wet on the pee sticks.

    When is your EDD? May 17, 2015

    How are you feeling?  Guarded.  Waiting to get past the point of our last loss. Then I might be able to feel like this is real.

    What are you craving? Nothing. But the progesterone is making me a ravenous beast.

    What is grossing you out? Nothing.

    Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately?  Nothing

    Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Our first beta, yesterday, was 302.  Tomorrow's a repeat.

    Have you / will you found out the sex?  We will find out.

    Any names picked out?  Just boy names for certain.  Our first boy will be Vincent Dean, if a second boy name is needed he will be Henry Thomas. Our current girl favorites are Amelia Jean and Leah Elizabeth.

    How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? n/a

    So good to see you here, @Aimothy!
