I got suckered into spending $90 on moisturizer by a family member who is selling the stuff.  The jar is seriously only 1 oz.  For a little more money, I could've just bought La Mer (not that I would).  I have to think of a good excuse to not buy it again.

    And it's only 9:15 a.m. and I'm starving.

  • For the first time ever my husband actually gave me his cold. We have always joked how we are immune to each other because over the last 5 years we've both had various cases of colds, flus, strep throat, etc... but have NEVER given it to the other one. Grrr....

That's the excuse my MIL is using.  I have to think of something different.  I may just say that I can't afford 1 oz. of $90 moisturizer.

  • It's grocery day.  I love grocery day.  I hate put groceries away though.
But the grocery store!!  I love it.  Maybe it's because it's a small locally owned organic grocery store and not huge like the stores I used to go to.  But the grocery week always starts off with really good intentions.  Ah, look at all the smoothie ingredients I'm buying!  Salads all week!  Apples and almond butter for snacking.
But then, somewhere in the middle of the week I go back to the store and end up in the chip aisle.
At least half of my week is good.

  • My oldest cat (gray kitty in siggy--he's 16) was highly vexed over the fact that he couldn't sit on my lap last night.  At the time, my lap was submerged in water in the bathtub, and he could NOT figure out why he could see me sitting there, but this invisible, wet boundary was in his way.  It was kind of hilarious.  He kept putting his paws on the side of the tub, stretching one out to me, then putting them back on the floor, paced a bit, and tried again.  At one point he tried to test the barrier--did not like that.

    Poor old kitty.

I DID!  And my preferred brand is only $38!  But she's super pushy and H told me to buy something to support her endeavor.  I don't think he realized what that entailed.

I'm kind of envious of your husband's support.  Whenever I get invited to something like that, J gives me a stern look and tells me not to buy shit I won't use.  It's obnoxious because he's right.  I still have Tastefully Simple stuff from two years ago.

I'm in the process of planning Will's party and had to just give up on Pinterest. It was stressing me out way more than was necessary and really the only person who will end up caring about the little details is me. The internet has pretty much ruined party planning for the average person.

That sounds so good right now.

I love the location of where I work compared to my house, but there is no place to eat here besides pizza joints, DD and Subway.  I WANT THAI!
