If you have any changes to this list, wish to be removed, added, or have graduated (yay!), please shoot me a PM.

FYI: We don't want to exclude people, but this is a check in for ladies who are unfortunately having trouble trying to conceive (TTTC = 3T). If you've been trying for more than a year and/or have been diagnosed with any form of infertility OR are now pursuing adoption OR have decided to remain childless following a 3T journey, you are welcome to join us.

Updates: Ok ladies... where are we at this week? Testing, Procedures, Appointments, Adoption updates, Life updates? What's going on, etc. Let's here all about it!!

  • @iloveredvino good luck! I'm hoping this is it for you so so freaking hard.

    @sewilson33 thank you!
  • aim So much love to you lady <3 you are an amazing woman and I cant wait to hear more about reggie and olaf :)

    Bruins silly girl welcome back lady <3 heavy heart though obviously <3

    Poppies: SO excited for you! :)

    I.....I don't even know.....I'm glad I waited till today to post here. DH had his third SA (reminder: March SA 1 with OBGYN: 2.5 mil, June SA 2 with RE ZERO and a bad overall sample) Today was supposed to be a sample and a cryo freeze.

    DH sent me a message saying that he barely got anything in the cup..he just freezes....so this is the second time this has happened. Not to mention we didn't find out till he showed up that they only cryo for 6 months so I only have 6 months to get down to the 191 lbs needed to do a cycle with my RE. really before 6 months because we'll have to start the process before the 6 months is up

    So not only did we just pay $350 for a freeze that if there aren't any sperm I want given back to us or credited.....we may again have no sperm....I think its time to suck it up and transfer to the RE that is closer (the one at BI Plymouth for those MA girls) so that we can do SA samples at home and again see the 2.5 mil we had seen before..... I just don't know what to do :( Sobbing phonecalls to the RE and my OB who made the referral happened this morning I'm just waiting for one of them to call me back :( He's depressed, so am I...:(

    I feel like you girls need a cupcake if you made it through that :(

    QOTW: I want to get into fall decorating more....I started this year by getting pretty owl towels :)

    Ashley & Jeremy 10/10/10

    Getting fit for IVF! :) (add another 20lbs and you have my total weight lost! :) )

  • @OceanHutt‌ I am so sorry, love. There is so much pressure on him, I can't even imagine. I hope you give him lots of squishes when you see him. I thinking moving REs to a closer location where you can do at home samples is a great idea! I'm sorry it has been such a struggle, but I hope the new RE is able to give you better results. Sending you lots of love and hugs. Message me anytime you need to.
  • @Oceanhutt  Can you transfer the sperm to a different cryo after the 6 months is up with your clinic?  It seems odd that they only keep it six months.  We have sperm that have been frozen since 2012, that were used in case of emergency as backup.  As long as we keep paying for them, they keep them frozen. I know after 10 years, we either have to destroy or move to a private cryo-preserve place. I hope you would get more than 6 months out of a storage fee.

    Keeping you in my thoughts.  We often forget that the guy goes through stress during this process too.  I hope you and your hubby can find a solution that works to get you back in the 2.5 range.  {{Hugs}}

  • I think it's important for you to let him know that you love him, this isn't his, or anyone else's fault, he's not less of a man because of it and that you guys are in this together.
  • Absolutely, we're going to watch my nephew's hockey game and then hang out tonight.. I might skip a 3 year old birthday party tomorrow for my friends son (#3 is on the way and there will be a ton of kids) idk... :(

  • Skip it if you need to. It's ok to self preserve sometimes.
  • I'm sorry @oceanhutt - it's so tough on the guys too, and we tend to forget that.  Like others have said, let him know that you support him and that the issues with fertility are not his alone; that you're a team.

    Love and hugs to all of you.

  • Sorry that it has been a while since I've posted anything.  It's been a really rough past few weeks for different reasons, but I hope to start posting again now that things have calmed down just a little bit.

    TTC is on hold for us for now and I'm not really sure when or if we'll actively try again.  We were supposed to be starting our 2nd IUI cycle last week but I've canceled that.  Ironically enough, I think I ovulated on my own 2 weeks ago and today got my period, without having to take medication to do so.  It has been years and years since I've gotten a period on my own, so this is a big deal for me.  I'm really curious to see if maybe the weight loss or the miscarriage reset my system and now perhaps my body will actually work right.

    QOTW: My fall and Halloween decorations went up on Tuesday which is actually really late for me to be getting them up.

  • @OceanHutt‌ I'm so sorry. My DH also had trouble with samples. We ended up having to use a collection condom and staying at a hotel nearby our RE. If you are already open to switching clinics, one that is closer to home so he can provide the sample might be a better option. I know how hard this part is on you, too. Be good to each other. I am sending you guys lots of good thoughts.

  • So much love to all you ladies. <3  And especial good luck with the fluoxetine, @poppies.  I hope it helps and kicks in soon.

    Update: Last week I got my period on my own, so I was excited by that.  I also opened our savings account for any treatment we might pursue.  The diet is completely off the rails since our kitty passed on Monday.

    @Rockabye, could you add me to the list?  TTC since August 2013, DX PCOS 7/14, trying diet changes while saving up for any future treatment.  (Thank you!)

  • @poppies - have you taken any other anti-anxieties before?  If the fuzziness doesn't get better after a couple weeks definitely talk to your doc about trying something else.  I'll be honest, it took me years to find the right meds for my anxiety and depression (and I so hope it does not take that long for you!).  And I'm sure you probably know all this so I'm sorry if I'm just being overly intrusive or over explain-y or anything!
