Rant: Meth heads

Oh boy, surprise! Don't you dare vent about something that affects your fertility and how it isn't easily accessible to treat it. Can't say meth heads should die, but "fuck the pregnants" gets a, you go girl.

Next post ...... "this board is so slow."

Sorry you got jumped all over Sparkly. You have a right to vent and you pre-warned that it was a vent. There was no need for everyone's liberal sense to be brought into it.

I'm glad his doctor was able to get him a prescription for it and now you don't have to worry about trying to find a drug store that isn't cleaned out.

Common decency and not calling people a meth head and hoping they die isn't a liberal sense. It is common decency and humanity.

Venting does not make what she said even remotely acceptable. Defending what she said and her lack of apology for it is more disgusting than the initial comment.

Sorry you think compassion is a liberal concept.

Yes, thinking that people are assholes because they voice that a group of people should die is totally the same as saying "fuck pr people". And linking to the blog of the guy who wrote about depression not being a disease? Yes,I am absolutely going to respect his opinion. Some of you are real jerks. I'm glad I don't have to associate with you on a daily basis.

I had a situation in my family where another family member stole pain pills from my great aunt after she'd had surgery for a chronic/life-threatening illness. She needed the pills but was left with none. I was so enraged when that happened that I probably did wish death upon not only my tweaker uncle, but people who abuse pills everywhere. How dare they lie, cheat and steal to get what they "need" from people who ACTUALLY need it. I didn't care that they were addicts and had "needs" as well. I was absolutely infuriated, and rightfully so I believe.

So I can somewhat sympathize with the OP. I think people here are so quick to jump on someone, puff out their chest and start a debate that they don't see things from any other perspective but their own. Unfortunately it is the one and only source of entertainment around here, and once you've scared everyone but yourselves off all you'll have to talk about is the weather and heart -warming (and barf-worthy) phone calls you've received... Oh wait...
