With fall colored flowers and a vase full of little acorns and pumpkins and squashs and orange lights around the windows and a cute wreath on the door!
we tend to put things that will last a while like some acorns and pine cones fall inspried baskets as well and we fill them every two weeks with things we find interesting like one day my son brought me a rock so we painted it and now its our fall door prop i like to get things useful around that we think are unique and represent fall like leaves we will copy and print different colors and make a small tree with wishes on it i try everthing
I love candles and I love fall. I mix the two together by purchasing mini pumpkins, carving part of them out and lighting tea light candles in them at night
Fall scented candles, pumpkins and pine cones are my usual. Although this year I'm loving the white pumpkins and added them to my entryway for a neutral classy and chic look.
I have always preferred to let nature decorate. I have planted various trees, shrubs and flowers to decorate with their summer and fall colors or to bloom with their flowers throughout the seasons.
Decorate my home?! This new mama is slowly going through and getting rid of old things to make room for baby's things. So, I suppose I decorate with baby toys and spit up rags, lol!!
We have VERY little storage space for seasonal decorations, so I prefer to print out cute holiday subway art that I find via Pinterest. It's super easy to change out the photo we normally have in the frame with a 8 x 10 piece of card stock and when the holiday is over, I just switch out the subway art, put the photo back in and store the art behind the photo in the frame. This makes for super easy storage and decorating at nearly zero cost.
Since I had a fall wedding last year I'm using the flowers from my bouquet and turning them into a centerpiece. I also have random decorations passed on from family that we'll be using in our new home.
Blankets out on couches for snuggling with, pumpkin and cinnamon flavored scents, baking a lot more so the house smells yummy, and then of course all the halloween decorations!!! :ar!
I picked up a variety of items at the farmers market and put together a few arrangements that will spend the fall drying in my house and smelling wonderful! Think hydrangeas, eucalyptus, wheat, fall berries, and more!
