I wonder how much loving her books comes from having similar experiences. I had a work BFF and loved Attachments and met my husband in college and loved Landline. I liked Eleanor and Park but didn't have all the feels about it like a lot of people did. Maybe I related less?
I felt like I would be able to relate more had I been married for a good while with children.

I'm with you one this one. I don't know what it was, but it wasn't like the other RR books were for me. It was still good, but not my favorite.
