I asked my sister if she would take my son to his friend's birthday party this weekend at one of these kid's indoor playground places. (These are kindergarten boys). It's equal parts because I'm still nursing baby A and don't want to have to take her along AND because it's the same time as the Packers playoff game. And my H flat out said he wouldn't miss the playoff game to take our son. So....I sure do love my sister!! *MUAH* She is the best!

I usually love my job but feel like it's time to move somewhere else. This feeling will probably disappear soon but we DO need to go somewhere warm and less expensive. IL stinks for a lot of reasons. Plus, our families are walking the line on helpful and harmful. Not helping.

Our nanny mentioned that she was considering leaving if we work from home more often. We checked out a Montessori school that would be awesome and save us $$$. I'm considering having DH say his schedule is changing and that he'll be working from home more often so she'll leave and we won't have to fire her.

Add me to the "love to wash, hate to style" my hair camp. I love having my hair styled, and it holds the style for days if I do it right. But I hate doing it, so I only wash and style my hair twice a week.

I've got that "I'm dreading something but I don't know what it is" feeling. Every once in awhile, I just feel queasy and nervous and I can't sleep and I have a fog of yuck over me for no discernible reason. I can't think of anything that is coming up or going on that would be worrying me.

It's really annoying.

I'm so close to sending out an email telling people not to come in my office or anywhere near me if they are sick. We've had sick people in the office all week long and I've been sending my employees home left and right because I will cut someone if they get me sick. If you are miserably sick STAY HOME.

See I hate both the washing & styling. The only reasons I hate the washing part is because I have naturally curly hair that is a pain to detangle and it means it will take longer to style. First world problems, I know.

I hate my hair in general. I can't do anything with it and it always looks like crap. I put in a bunch of time in the morning and it looks okay for two minutes and then does whatever the hell it wants.

Same. Also, I got a hair staightener for Christmas and I think I'm in love. Still hate the process but my hair looks really pretty.

I got a new hair straightener too! It makes it easier to not give a shit how straight it gets while blow drying.

Okay I'm going to be french dork here for a second but "prest" is actually the old french version of "ready" from the 1250-1300 time range. The proper form/spelling (ie what they use today and in the 18th century) would be prêt(e). The "e" wouldn't be added in this case because the speaker is not a female.

I am (semi) mobile again. The doctor cleared me for weight bearing in the boot for a month and told me to bring sneakers to my next appointment.

My confession is that I am MORE excited about being able to wash my foot and leg again than any of the rest of this. Shit's nasty.

Ok...

I had crazy pains in my left leg and left hip for the first half of the week stemming from the horrible leg cramp I got while....participating in bedroom activities.
