I am ready.
Okay I'm going to be french dork here for a second but "prest" is actually the old french version of "ready" from the 1250-1300 time range. The proper form/spelling (ie what they use today and in the 18th century) would be prêt(e). The "e" wouldn't be added in this case because the speaker is not a female.
Thanks for letting me be a dork, I'm done
You know we are referring to Outlander, right?
This the Clan Fraser motto which probably would be hundreds of years old by the 1700s. It's entirely possible the motto was created during the 1200s then carried down through the generations with that spelling.
And actually, the correct spelling and pronunciation is, "Je Suis Prest, Bitches."
