Re: Heating unit died :(

  • Well its good we double checked on those terms! ... Apparently he quoted us with the 100 a month because he assumed we would want the lower payments with the baby even tho we said the 0% one. So the 0% one is 285 a month so it wouldn't even help, we mine as well have the car payment. We got another quote last night - They supposedly do 0% financing but its an extra 800 to get the 0%. (It scares me that some ppl would fall for that!) But nonetheless we are paying cash now which makes me feel a lot better! Just trying to decide between a few different systems and installers - but i think we're gonna end up going with the cheaper one.  I hate to spend all our car payoff funds but I guess I have to look at the bright side... Any other time we wouldn't have had the cash at all so i guess in that aspect its good it happened now. DH was going to pretty much stop working his second job after the baby but now he says he'd rather just stay and keep up the hours until the cars paid off so it doesn't set us back as much so that'll help. Plus we're still praying for his raise to come through so hopefully it won't really be an extra 10 months like i'm figuring now.
