Credit Karma

CK did an update, and I swear I cannot find anything anymore.  Am I the only one who hates the way the site is now?

Re: Credit Karma

  • I hate it!! I can't find anything and it's not user friendly at all. It also isn't showing our mortgages in the debts section like it did before. But if I search through all the areas, I can find them. It's very annoying, especially because I really like the previous format.

  • I hadn't logged in for awhile so I just went on.

I hate these changes. The font is so weird and faded looking, I feel like I can hardly read it.

Plus I liked the way the whole credit report card thing was set up before.

  • All I see is my credit score.  When I signed on with DH info, I can see his credit score along with our mortgage info.  CK, please go back to the way it used to be!!!!!

  • Don't use CreditKarma, all you really need to do is watch your credit reports and flag things that you didn't do.  It is your credit history that determines your credit score which is mainly used for large purchases such as home improvement loans, mortgages, and vehicle sales as an example.

From what I understand, most banks have their own formula that they follow.
  • Wulfgar: Even though I hate the new format, I will continue to use Credit Karma. I continue to pull my reports, but CK lets you monitor your credit on a more regular basis without penalty (i.e., credit inquiries). It notifies you of potential identity theft, remarks/changes, etc.

It's only a guestimate, but it's nice to get a since of where you might be.
