I was reading over some old post about paying off student loans and came over your post about paying off loans early. I just wanted to say that we consolidated with DRB a few months ago and got a much lower interest rate under 4%

  Thanks for sharing. We have considered consolidation, but we will have DH's loans (about $15,000) paid off within the next 10 months. So we didn't think it would be worth through the process.
