Should have $880 left over. I've been cracking down on eating out and personal spending so we should see this soon. I want split that into our efund and to fund some house stuff (blinds, curtains, new couch). Deck will be paid off this time next year using my extra pays in May and oct, and roll that into H's car ($10,000 left on it).
I feel very lucky because my health insurance at work is freaking amazing and I don't have a premium. For DH and I, the deductible is $600 with $15 copays and dental and vision included. Without that, our budget would be much tighter.
I don't mind - principal, interest, property tax, house ins, PMI + $60some to make it an even $1900.
My budget after I get my raise next month will be:
Take home pay- $2840
Mortgage- $630
Cell Phone Bill- $176
Cable- $151
Gas/Electric- $100 (varies each month)
HOA- $35 (paid quarterly)
Water- $60 (paid quarterly)
Gas (car)- $120
School- $150
Car- $700 (almost paid off! Snowballing this currently which is why the payment is so high)
Car Insurance- $80
Eating out, entertainment, grocery etc.- $300
Any extra is put towards paying off my credit cards each month and then my car payment.
When my car is paid off 2 April (insert happy dance) I will be putting $1010 into savings and upping my student loan payment to pay that off a little earlier.
Note: H & I do not share accounts, so this my info only. H pays for the majority of our groceries that's why there is not a huge line item for that and it is included in my allowance piece.
Edited to correct numbers.. I do my budgeting every two weeks not monthly and I forgot I needed to double some things.
