Monday Accountability

Re: Monday Accountability

  • How MM was your weekend?
$160 for groceries, OTC meds, household stuff. I sent a small gift to a family member who's expecting her first baby - $15. Ice cream - $5.

    Any progress towards your goals?
Extra $200 in savings. Also reviewed my 401K. I'll be making some adjustments during my next opportunity to make changes.

GTKY: would you rather do dishes or laundry, why?
    Laundry, maybe?

  • Hi all,
    First Monday Accountability!
    1. How MM was your weekend?
Pretty good! Only money spent was groceries ($60), but Target had a $10 off of $50 coupon, paired with Cartwheel, my employee discount and redcard, I felt a little guilty with the savings! Eh, I forgot that I bought my daughter her Easter outfit and a new pair of booties (how do they grow so fast?!). All was 40% off, but did still spend $40 :/

    2. Any progress towards your goals?
Yes! We closed on our home, so all cc's were paid off as well as $4600 was applied to our car payment this month. Our goal is $5000 for next month which is a bit intense...

3.GTKY: would you rather do dishes or laundry, why?
I hate both, but probably hate laundry more, which is why is always seems to pile up ;)
  • 1. Bad bad bad. H has been pining for a limited edition Nintendo DS that always sells right out when it goes on sale. Friday he told me the last round was going onsale. I gave my blessing assuming he'd never get one, but he did. $200. We paid our share for a shared week in a Maine house this summer. $250. I paid Uber for my friend who won Bruins tickets and took me. $20. Beer and groceries for guests and the week. $100. We suck. I'm a MM failure.

    2. Not this week.

    3. Laundry. I hate dishes so much. They cause a lot of fights in our house.

@formerlyGDaisy09 I'm so happy for you! Congrats!
