Re: Monday Accountability Post

  • 1.  How MM was your weekend?
Good.  $8 at Dairy Queen for delicious cotton candy blizzards, then $17 at Jimmy Johns for lunch on Mothers day.  That was it.
    2.  Progress towards goals?
We paid off all of H's student loans!!!!!  We also paid for the birth of our daughter (with a paid in full discount, woot!), and paid off 2 of my student loans.
    3.  If you had $100 to blow on something frivolous at the mall, what would it be?  Yes, you have to blow it on something frivolous at the mall, no saving.
Probably a pair of shoes.  I love shoes.

  • A little late to the party but just got back from vacation! We had a great cruise!

    1. We actually came back with extra money from vacation so that is a good thing. We will pay for food for family and the moving truck when we move in about 2 weeks.

    2. $550 to house fund before vacation

    3. I'd buy clothing..most likely shirts

Fun!  Phew, you have a lot going on!  Vacation and then moving.  Tell me how you get your energy, lol.
Haha, well we had booked this vacation literally a year ago when we didn't have any idea when we would be able to sell. So it kind of worked out nicely. I quit my part-time job right before vacation so I could relax and just be done with it and not have to worry about working nights and weekends after we got back. Now that we are back we can just focus on packing. My energy was on the verge of crashing right before I quit. Having 2 jobs is really tiring, but I think this timeline worked out great and we are extremely lucky that it worked out this way!!
