Where are you at in your TTC journey?

Just starting to pursue options after a few years of not preventing.

    Any testing coming up?

    HSG and Spermanalysis

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life

Niece and nephews get to visit for a week in about a month. I can't wait!

QOTW: What is one thing you eat during the summer that you can't stand any other time of year?

Not really sure on this one, I like a lot of summery foods year round.

Where are you at in your TTC journey? We just started...I had my Mirena removed yesterday. :)
    Any testing coming up? Nope.
Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..) Work for DH has been awful lately. He's been working 15 hour days having to pick up the slack for others in his office. I hate it, mostly because he can't continue like this.
QOTW: What is one thing you eat during the summer that you can't stand any other time of year? I picked this question because I love pineapple in the summer but don't eat it a lot any other time of the year. I think it tastes better in the summer. (Brought to you by the fact that I've had pineapple for lunch twice in the past week.)

  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? This is our first month TTC. I am not temping this month. It is my first month off BC in 8 years and I knew temping would be more hurt than help emotionally for me.

Any testing coming up? Based on the last year of my life I should be getting my period Monday. I will probably wait another week before I worry about testing. I am trying to be as level headed as possible.

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..)
Summer Vacation just started for H and I. I work part time but basically we get the next three months off!

QOTW: What is one thing you eat during the summer that you can't stand any other time of year?
Watermelon. Here in ME you can't find good watermelon from late September to late May. I miss it so much.

    1. We're in our first month of actively TTC. I've been off BC since November and taking prenatas since January.

    2. Today is day seven of our TWW. Even though it's early, I'm planning on testing Sunday.

    3. We just got back from a big trip to London, Paris and Norway last week, and then today I'm going to call Sallie Mae to make the final payment on my student loan and then close the account! Looking ahead to the next year, we're just going to buckle down on work and stay focused on now killing my H's student loan, hopefully, before baby!

    4. I eat all things, all the time. But maybe homegrown tomatoes? So much better than store bought!

  • Good Luck girls!

@alyssa32713 don't be surprised if your cycle is way wonky after being on BC for so long. I'm in the minority, but in the year I was off BC my cycle never got "normal" (which my doctors define as between 21 and 35 days)

If you find you have longer cycles, I found temping helped me stay sane because I was understanding better what was going on and I wasn't wasting a bunch of tests when I hadn't even O'ed yet. I went 6 months without a period right after coming off BC, there was so much money wasted on tests during that time, I know you like to be MM about things too :) Just something to think about.

T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? H and I are TTA (with BCP) until Fall 2015 or Spring 2016.
    Any testing coming up? Nope
Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..) Meh...not really. Just getting settled into our new state/city/apartment.
QOTW: What is one thing you eat during the summer that you can't stand any other time of year? There's nothing I won't eat any other time of year. In the summer, I love grilled food and homemade ice cream!

  • I'll throw my hat in the ring, too.

Where are you at in your TTC journey?
We've just started TTC (coming up on the third cycle).

    Any testing coming up?
    No.

Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..)
I'm just trying to stay positive and not stress! Other than that, after my next race I'm going to be training for a half-marathon.

QOTW: What is one thing you eat during the summer that you can't stand any other time of year?
I wouldn't say I can't stand it at other times of the year, but I certainly don't crave it unless it's summer: hot dogs.

  • Where are you at in your TTC journey? Just went off of birth control. Actually just got my first period since going off the pull and I forgot how much they suck! Looking at ttc in August or September Anything good or bad happening? (TTC wise or just in life..) Actually getting ready to move across the country in a couple of days and starting a new job in August (which makes me a bit nervous about ttc) No tests. QOTW: What is one thing you eat during the summer that you can't stand any other time of year? I don't think I can answer this one. I eat the same things all the time also so excited to talk with you all throughout this journey.

Temping is the plan come fall. If I decide I want to start sooner I will, honestly I am sure I wont make it the whole summer without taking that plunge. Haha. H is very supportive of whatever choice I make.

Just think...you'll get more than two seasons (hot and hurricane). That was one of the many reasons I moved back north from Florida. :)  Good luck!

I got a BFN this morning, but there's still a chance since I still have four days until my next period. I'm not holding my breath though...
