He's so cute! I can't believe he is 4 weeks old!

Post partum hormones suck, so hang in there! I was the mama that stayed awake staring at the monitor. You aren't alone.

The "new normal" is a hard adjustment. Don't be too hard on yourself. Remind me, are you going back to work in the fall?
Congrats to my TTC buddy Madeline! Cheering for all the strong 3T ladies!

  • How many weeks are you? 28+5

    When is your EDD? 8.21.15

How are you feeling? Nauseated and tired today.

    What are you craving? Desserts!

What is grossing you out? Still just things randomly, nothing specific.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Someone who can't make it to the shower sent us our changing table pad! Now I have to get thank you cards ASAP.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? 28 week appointment was yesterday. Measuring on track! Now appointments are every 2 weeks. Crazy!

Have you / will you found out the sex? Little princess coming soon!

    Any names picked out? Nope!

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Ha. We need to get more on this.

Anything else you would like to add or PIP?

I will be going back to work in the fall. We can't afford our lavish lifestyle on one salary. :)  These first few days haven't been as horrible as I was imagined they'd be going.  We definitely have to figure out the balance, but I'm not as sleep deprived as I figured I'd be having to do all the middle of the night wake ups.   I've found I just need to be assertive if I need some time alone--hand Vince off and disappear.  If he doesn't have an option to watch or not watch the baby, he can't choose to go do things alone! :)

I'm glad it's going better than you expected.

I think it's important that you've realized that some times you need to hand him off and get some alone time. It took me forever to realize this and I still struggle with it, honestly.

Sometimes you just need space for a minute for you. Glad you're able to ask for it and take it.
