I came home last night from helping my ILs move into their new house to seeing a nice mound of cat puke on my bed, in the middle of my brand new white sheets. Not cool, cat. Not cool.

We have family day down the Cape this weekend, and DH is taking Tatum to his god-daughter's hs graduation party instead. So it's just me and Eli driving out and meeting family and old friends for the day. I am so flipping excited to just have it be Eli and I, it's probably not even right. Babies are so much easier than pre-schoolers and husbands!

My kid is SO weird. She woke up at 6 am all excited because she gets to go to the dentist today. She keeps asking how much longer until her appointment.

I suspect someone in the office is stealing my makeup out of my purse. I carry a ton of lipsticks and lip glosses in my purse because I never know which one I want to use; sometimes I use different ones throughout the day. I've been systematically "losing" a couple here and there over the last week. On Tuesday, I discovered all of my good ones are gone - my limited editions, the last of discontinued colors. I am SO MAD, especially since my favorite red is gone. It's a discontinued color by Chanel and I bought the last one on eBay a few months ago. ~X(

Seriously, who wants other people's makeup??

DD had a dentist appointment last week, and she was the same way! I had to pick her up a little early from day care for it and when I got there, EVERYONE knew that she had a dentist appointment because she had been talking about it all day. The novelty will wear off, I guess we should enjoy it now before they start kicking and screaming about having to go.

Who would do that? Gross! The thought of my lips touching something that my coworkers lips touched makes me feel physically ill. It's like stealing a tester from the store. Have you checked to make sure there isn't a hole in the lining of your purse or something that they they are falling through?

I noticed the other day that I'm like 50 likes away from 1000. I know it doesn't actually mean anything, but since we don't get any points any more for post count and it seems like I've lost a ton in the several transitions we've had, I'm wondering if I'll get a new badge for 1000. This has me more excited than it should.

I really hate the last work day before a vacation, which is today for me. I hate leaving my projects in the care of someone else while I am gone. Once this day is complete, I will do my best to leave all my worries here at the office though. I know I am leaving them in capable hands, but I hate giving up the control.

Also.. hi! I have been so busy and working so hard lately that I rarely have time to pop on here anymore.

First thing I checked was for holes. Also checked my car in case they fell out. Nada. Maybe I'm wrong (I hope I'm wrong) and they turn up somewhere else. Because GROSS.

In the span of 10 days 3 employees and 2 volunteers have quit the museum. I'm panicking. Seriously. We only have 15 employees counting part timers. After today there will be 6 full timers left including myself. The rest are part time. I just got back from vacation and I feel like I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown already, and I am not one who is prone to dramatics.

I can't even fathom that someone would get in your purse on multiple occassions but leave your cash and credit cards? I mean, a thief is a thief. Crazy.

I used to think this was an urban legend until my last job had one. Who eats other people's food? And it wasn't like stealing someone's Lean Cuisine. It was leftovers and food people made at home. Who thinks it's a good idea to go sampling?

I once had someone go into my zipped lunch bag in the employee refrigerator, use the rest of my cream cheese, put the empty container back in the bag, then walk away.

Never found out who that was.
