1. How MM was your weekend?
2. Any progress towards goals?
3. Pool or hot tub?
Re: Monday Accountability
1. $58 God grooming, $28Gas, $250 deposit on shed, Free movie!
2. $2900 to house account
3. Hot tub!
1. How MM was your weekend? Good! Spent about $35 for dinner and drinks on Friday night, $22 for ingredients to take to dinner with friends on Saturday (which made enough for leftovers to eat at work all week!), and $40 at Drugstore.com
2. Any progress towards goals? $370 to H's student loan.
3. Pool or hot tub? Beach. Definitely the beach.
Pretty good. We went away for the weekend. We rented a cabin which was paid for back in the spring. About $40 on groceries,$20 eating out on the road and $20 to top off the gas tank.
2. Any progress towards goals?
Not this week. We both get paid late this week so next week money will go into savings.
3. Pool or hot tub?
I've never had a hot tub but pools can be pricey to maintain and sometimes you don't get to use it as much as you'd like. We had to purchase a new filter for our pool this year. Also the yearly opening costs are up there too. Our next house won't have one.
1. How MM was your weekend?
Ok, $170 on groceries (it was a stock-up week).
2. Any progress towards goals?
none yet, we're closing o our renovation refinance tomorrow afternoon!
3. Pool or hot tub?
oh man, neither, too much work! if I were forced to choose one, I guess I'd go hot tub.
1. How MM was your weekend? Definitely not great. We spent the last week trying to clear out our refrigerator, freezer and pantry by cooking up as much as we could using odds and ends (basically a Chopped basket challenge for dinner each night) so this weekend I got a little spend happy with groceries. I found amazing deals at Price Chopper and Wegman's, then went to Trader Joe's just because we were near it and ended up spending about $250 total. At least it will last us a long time (I hope)! Also spent $12 for lunch out and $18 at Macy's for two shirts for H. I'm a sucker for great deals.
2. Any progress towards goals? Not this week, paid off all of our credit cards and scheduled auto-pay for our bills, we'll contribute to savings next paycheck.
3. Pool or hot tub? Hot tub for sure! I swam competitively for 10 years and I like swimming for a workout (minus the chlorine destroying my hair) but I would love to have a hot tub at home. Much more relaxing, plus it takes up less space and requires less maintenance.
1. How MM was your weekend? Pretty good- we were busy all weekend so we haven't even gone grocery shopping yet- DH is taking the girls today. My mom brought a bunch of stuff from their garden on Sunday so that got us dinner last night and lunch for me all week. Gas ($40), Food at the Italian Fest ($40).
2. Any progress towards goals? $6,000 went to our Roth IRA accounts last week- we're all set for 2015. We've hit a wall on saving this month and next month. Had some extra things to pay for (new booster car seat for DD#1, extra $ on car insurance for DH's new car, Registration for DH's car, DH's first car payment- there's a theme here!) so right now, we have no $ going to savings until September. Fortunately, DH's new job allows him to spread his salary over 26 paychecks instead of 20 at his previous school district, so it'll be easier to budget going forward. We also went to 2 other open houses this weekend- the first one had an awesome layout but the real estate agent admitted it was over priced and maintenance deferred (which is a nice way of saying that the owners haven't done a thing since they moved in 8 or so years ago and the house was built in 1992). The second was too small for the price and I didn't really like the neighborhood. It was just a cul-de-sac off a busier street. I like more of a neighborhood feel for the girls. Good to see the houses though and I really liked the one real estate agent so we might have her come over to assess the house for us in a few months.
3. Pool or hot tub? Neither please- DH's parents have an inground pool that we can use (and we don't have to take care of it or worry about it) and I think hot tubs are nasty gross.
1. How MM was your weekend?
Everything planned and on budget. $63 on groceries, $12 for DH's haircut, $24 on date night dinner, $2 on movie candy from the dollar store, and $18.50 for Jurassic World. I also spend about $7 of my blow money on hard cider for us to take to our friends' house on Friday.
2. Any progress towards goals?
None this week. I get paid Friday, so we'll get one more July SL payment.
3. Pool or hot tub?
Hot tub. I'd probably prefer neither, but DH and I both have back problems and we really enjoy some time at the gym hot tub to relax our muscles.
- Good. H came home from out of town a day early so we went to the show yesterday. $40 for tickets and snacks. Then $48 on groceries. That's it!
2. Any progress towards goals?
- $740 between our move money and regular savings.
3. Pool or hot tub?
- Hot tub. As long as it's mine. I don't mind the maintenance and upkeep, but a public hot tub grosses me out. But I would love to have one of my own.
1. Not the best. Spent $80 on eating out (ugh), $100 on groceries, $53 to fill up both vehicles, $54 on trimmers for the dog, and have an emergency vet visit tomorrow afternoon.
2. I won't know until tomorrow after the vet visit. Good news is we bought grooming trimmers for our golden for $50 which will save us about $65 each grooming visit (4-5 times per year).
3. Pool or hot tub? both as long as it was private.
1. How MM was your weekend? We were at our annual car club meet this weekend. So it was spendy, but budgeted. Between food out, gas, and hotel for 2 nights. We budgeted $500, but came in at $325. Woot!
2. Any progress towards goals? Every single debt is paid off!!!!!!!!!!
3. Pool or hot tub? Pool. But give me a float and a margarita so I can soak up the sun.

1. How MM was your weekend? Not very. $44 at Festa on Friday for food/drinks, $17 on H's haircut, $100 for a wedding gift, unknown amount on drinks post-wedding (need to figure that out tonight...).
2. Any progress towards goals? Nothing new to report.
3. Pool or hot tub? Can I decide on an in-between? Pool heated to a warm, comfy temp.
1. How MM was your weekend?
Great, $45 for a few groceries at Costco. Nothing else.
2. Any progress towards goals?
$500 toward HELOC
3. Pool or hot tub?
Definitely hot tub! In fact, there is a cute fairly small one (4 person) on sale for $3,000 at Wayfair (free shipping), that has been tempting me. But I just don't think I'd use it enough to justify the cost.
1. How MM was your weekend? Pretty good! $20 gas (budgeted) and $200 groceries/dog toys. I was under budget on groceries so I splurged and bought about $70 worth of dog toys.
2. Any progress towards goals? Extra $40 to porch fund and increased H's IRA contribution to 5%. We will jump it up to 11% at the end of the year when his truck is paid off. I'm so glad he is finally starting to make retirement a priority (better late than never!)
3. Pool or hot tub? H and I have buying a hot tub in our way down the road plans! He also really wants an infrared sauna.
2. Retirement, travel, and home fund contributions.
3. Hot tub! I'd rather swim in the ocean.
1. How MM was your weekend? If you include my vacation, we were about on budget, around $700 total including 2 cases of local Lake Erie Island wines.
2. Any progress towards goals? Have to see if I made the correct credit card payments at the beginning of the month, have another $130 to put towards it this week.
3. Pool or hot tub? Hot tub for the house since we can go to a community pool that has very shallow water for the LOs.
2. Any progress towards goals?
No progress as this is a non-pay weekend.
3. Pool or hot tub?
Pool
1. Weekend mm wide was great. I have bad morning sickness so we barely left the house. We ordered Chinese Sunday night for $36.
2. We managed to save a ton last month towards the baby fund ($4500) this was because of dhs off shore time.
3. Hot tub for sure. Our pool in the community is nice, I wouldn't want to maintain one on our own, but we don't have a hot tub so that would be nice.

SITB...
Congratulations @CuriousKiddosMama!
I had morning sickness thru 16 weeks with both of my boys. With my first it reappeared in the third trimester for a bit but not as bad. My mom had morning sickness with all of her pregnancies, my sister never had a moment!
@vlagrl29
I give you so much credit for dealing with morning sickness the entire pregnancy! Not easy. I thought throwing up in the middle of the night and randomly at work was bad for the time I had it.
