I'm attempting to sign up for the new board, but apparently PB wants to test my Norwegian first. :P

To any fledgling web designers, pleeeeeeease don't assume that just because someone is using a machine in a certain country that the person speaks the language. Auto-translate is nice and all, but if you insist on translating part of an otherwise English website, give an option to view it in the language of the rest of the site! (Google is terrible about this too, btw)

Not that I know of, but I'm paranoid because my BMB disappeared from The Bump a year or so ago. We had already moved to FB during The Great Migration, but someone went to look at an old post and it was just gone.

The Powers That Be have been entirely absent for a long time, making me think that the forums are in no way part of The Nest's overall plan/focus.

It's just a back up plan.

Was this a few months ago? I was on maternity leave and my BMB group on FB was completely flipping out about the whole Bump drama. I'm glad you guys were still here when I got back from mat leave!

The Nest Great Migration and the Bump Great Migration are two different events. The nest happened in 2012 and we are pretty much all that is left behind. The Bump migration happened in January. It was 2 very different reasons for the migrations and the bump mods have gone crazy.

There is also a book board on the bump offshoot if we were just looking for a "nice" emergency plan, although we have already made a board so I guess that is a moot point.
