MM Win: DIY Back-splash saved us over $800!
Super excited that we finally dived in and did our kitchen back-splash this past weekend. It was surprisingly easier than I thought, quite a bit of fun and we love it! It's about 90% complete, we just need to seal it and put the outlet covers back on. We got quotes from contractors and they ranged from $1,000-$1300! Mostly because our back-splash is so long (over 20 feet) and we wanted glass mosaic.
With materials and a wet-saw rental, we spent $200! It took about 10 hours in total, but it was totally worth it.

H has done two tile projects in our house. He watched a lot of YouTube videos prior. We purchased a saw since H found one for a great price. It's already paid for itself.
