What is on your Christmas list?

So far my list has a jewelry armoire on it.

I love those!  I have one along with a full length mirror that opens to fit some jewelry between the glass and the back of it.

I unfortunately had a break-in (no one was home) when I first moved into my house about four years ago.  But even in that terrible situation, one thing that made me laugh was the utter stupidity of the robbers.  I have two small jewelry cases that I had used from before I bought the armoire.  One of them literally sat right on top of the armoire.  I had a little bit of old, worthless costume jewelry in it, but my nicer things I keep in the armoire.

He had picked up both of the old jewelry boxes.  Dumped the contents out on the bed and then left it all there.  Never even opened the armoire.  I guess he thought it was a piece of furniture instead of the big jewelry "box" that it actually is.

It's funny you say that.  That's the exact one I have picked out, and my H said nobody would know it was actually a jewelry case because it looks like a full length mirror.

Oh!  Actually what I was talking about was a jewelry armoire that has the drawers in front and the side pull outs to hang necklaces.

But I do have a full length mirror jewelry case also, though I didn't have it at the time of the break-in.  I more bought that because I needed a full length mirror anyway and it wasn't anymore expensive to get the one with the jewelry storage.

Your H is right.  It looks no different than any other full length mirror from the front.  If someone was super eagle-eyed and looked at it from the side, they might notice the wood backing is a few inches thicker than a typical mirror but, unless someone had seen one before, I would find that extremely unlikely.

I'm horrible at making lists because I usually don't want anything or if I do want something I just buy it myself.  Luckily I don't exchange with my family or H, I just need to make a list for his family.

I've been working on this list for about a year now so I actually have more things than usual: tea, hot chocolate, green tea flavored kit kats, a chess set, raw almonds for snacking at work, a copy of "The Last Lecture" to keep in the guest room, gift card to the local small business tea shop, gift card to the local bakery by my work and maybe a gift card to a restaurant chain by work so I can go out to lunch.
I am now adding green tea kit kats to my Christmas list!
I don't even know what that is, but now I want to try one, lol.
Kit Kat sells all kinds of weird flavors in Japan.  You wouldn't even believe some of them.  Go on Amazon and search for Japanese Kit Kat.

Omg.  That is amazing!  The only one I don't want to try is sweet potato, but how can you not at least try a sweet potato kit kat?  I'm definitely going to have to sample these!
