A lot of years there is one international, but not necessarily every year. And most years one of the vacations is a long weekend to a city in the US, like this year we did a Fri-Mon in Memphis.
We also take 2 longer trips per year to visit family and about 3-4 weekend trips per year to visit family/friends that live within driving distance.
Vacations are something I am trying to improve on! I don't take enough, even though I love to travel.
My H and I usually go on one bigger trip (one week+) once every year or two. We also take long weekends...usually to the Gulf Coast of FL...1-2x/year.
We are supposed to FINALLY go to Europe (Rome, Istanbul) in September, but we haven't booked anything yet (waiting on passports) and now I'm not so sure it's a good time
. I'm working, but in the middle of a job search, and I'd hate to book everything...only to have started a new job 1-2 months earlier and possibly not be able to get the time off. Quandries.
