Re: Sad Baby News and we need a vacation

  • I am sorry for this news for you. The other day I lifted you and your baby up in prayer. May the peace of the Lord be with you and may He guide you.

I've been so sporadic on reading The Nest and am so sorry to come back to such sad news. I really feel for you and your husband and am thinking of you during this difficult time. I would recommend that you think of somewhere else to go besides of Mexico/the Caribbean. If it were me, I wouldn't want to further complicate an already complicated pregnancy with an exposure to Zika, let alone put you at risk in future pregnancies. So little is known right now about the virus and my husband and I cancelled our vacation to Puerto Rico because we are thinking of getting pregnant sometime late this year/early next year. As far as places we've gone in the Caribbean/Mexico, we have stayed at the Ritz Carlton San Juan, Puerto Rico several times and have loved it. We also honeymooned at the Ritz Carlton in Cancun and were very happy.

Please know my heart goes out to you! Hope you get the rest & relaxation that you so deserve.
