TGIF! What do you have planned?
Re: Weekend Plans?
Tonight I'm feeling the itch to re-organize so I think I'll focus my attention on the laundry room. We have a storage bench thing down there that DH made and it's an absolute mess. I really want to paint the basement this year so getting organized down there needs to happen first.
Tomorrow will probably be a project day. DH is restoring a dresser/vanity that I inherited from my great-grandma. I kind of want to run some errands that I haven't had time for this week. That evening we're planning to go to the botanical gardens for live music. We already have a paid membership so it'll be a cheap date night, especially if we eat at home beforehand so we aren't tempted to buy food there.
Sunday I'm planning to just hang out with my mom and sister and niece. My niece turns 1 this month and I can hardly believe it! She's a walking little chatterbox right now and she is so much fun to interact with!
Friday- Dog grooming, shopping for our picnic supplies
Saturday- Hosting a family picnic, should be fun
Sunday- Laundry...bike ride, gym
Tomorrow: It's the fundraiser for my brothers' scholarship fund. It's a bags/cornhole tournament this year. My H and I are going to play together. AKA we're going to drink a lot and be the worst team playing. Only negative to tomorrow is that the fundraiser is at the bar my brother was last at before his accident. So I have mixed feelings about the whole thing. Thankfully BIL is planning to drive us home and not drink, and DD will stay overnight with MIL so we don't have to rush to get home. That will be nice.
Sunday: Church and then I'm not exactly sure what yet. We have some housework that needs to be done, but the zoo has free admission so I would rather go there with DD.

Saturday: No firm plans - probably cleaning and organizing the office
Sunday: Again, no plans. We are excited to have a low-key weekend!
H told me she weighed in at 56lbs today...she's a beast!
Our dog is fairly high energy but we adopted her at 18 months so she was no longer a puppy when she got spayed. Apparently it is a lot rougher physically on dogs/cats when they are older. She didn't move unless she had to for about 3-4 days and wouldn't even jump up onto the couch or bed (her two favorite places in the house, lol). Unfortunately, I think all of that was because she was still in a good bit of pain.
Tomorrow it's supposed to be nice out, so we'll probably have a bonfire, which means a grocery and beer run during the day. Since we've already started our Christmas shopping, I'd also like to set our gift budget this weekend.
Sunday H and one of his friends are going out for the football game, and I have another gym class. Nothing particularly exciting this weekend, but I'm OK with it coming off a vacation week.
Friday: Getting a fill for my nails after work. I hate the time it takes to do that.
Saturday: Part-time job in the morning. I'm supposed to be closing this Monday on my new duplex. So, after finishing our morning work, my H and I are going to swing by that house and make sure it hasn't burnt to the ground or anything else crazy, lol.
Sunday: Total relaxation day. At least it should be!
Friday: Undecided. Potentially working late, maybe getting a jump on the laundry situation before it gets out of hand.
Saturday: house cleaning, grocery shopping, and then a BBQ at a friend's house in the evening.
Sunday: Our town has an annual fair that we have missed every year since we moved here 3 years ago. I am finally making it this time! That's in the morning though and then late afternoon will be hanging out the in-laws for BIL's birthday and some football.
Friday: Finish grad school homework
Saturday: DH wants to smoke a pork shoulder, so we may have his family over.
Sunday: Grocery shopping, meal prep for the week and mentally prepare to go back to work.
Tonight: Packing for our trip and dropping our dog off at my sisters
I always hate leaving my dog when we go away.
Saturday: We fly to Punta Cana for a week for BIL's wedding! I'm excited. It should be a fun trip
We'll be leaving our house at 3 AM to head to the airport and I'll likely be drinking by 5 AM because flying is terrifying, fun times!
Enjoy! That will be fun! I hate flying too.....
Saturday: cleaning the house and having a couple friend and their toddler over for dinner.
Sunday: church then NOTHING and it sounds completely glorious. Our states' NFL team plays at noon and I'm already looking forward to the nap that will inevitably occur during it lol.
Saturday: More bathroom tile work, grocery shop, errands, dinner with DH's parents
Sunday: Laundry, meal prep, football, family time, hopefully some sewing
Saturday - I have a wedding, but there's a gap between the ceremony and reception so I'm not making H go to the ceremony, just the reception.
Sunday - No plans. Maybe do homework from today's class?
Fri-Dentist, work in the garden and then nothing!
Sat-There is a college football game with our local team that pretty much everyone in the city is going to be watching so catching that on TV while doing some multi-tasking. Then the neighbors are coming over for dinner which will be relaxing since we are keeping the menu simple and low key for just 4 people total.
Sun-We have guest speaker at church, Quentin Love. He owns Turkey Chop restaurant in Chicago---has anyone heard of it or him? I think he will be very inspiring. Then a short road trip to meet girlfriends for some shopping.
