MM Win: Student Loan Debt Paid Off!!
Our Saturday nights are super fun around here...given we are just hanging out with our dogs

I am excited though because we decided to use the excess $4,000 check from our homeowners insurance toward the remaining student loans DH had. He owed about $5,500. So we put the whole check toward it and he is pulling the remaining $1,500 from savings.
I am still finishing graduate school, but only have to pay one more semester (Spring 2017) and am paying in cash. So this marks the end of student loans for us. Never again will we take them out or have them! It only took 6 years in total, but we paid off over $39,000 (plus some interest) in student loans.
So September is elimination of all student loan debt for us!!!
