Question about HSA and 401k rollover
OK so I have an HSA at my current job with $500 in it. My new job offers a couple of insurance plans, one of which is an HSA plan. I don't know the details of it yet but I'm thinking that's probably what I'd go with because of the HSA option.
Anyway, with my current HSA, do I just leave it where it is or is that something I have to arrange to take with me? PayFlex is the company that's used to maintain the HSA funds. I asked our HR lady here and she wasn't that helpful.
Also I have a bit of money in a 401k here, I'm assuming I can just roll that over into my new company's 401k?
Re: Question about HSA and 401k rollover
You could roll both into your new plans. Or have the 401k rolled into a rollover IRA.
