Re: Wish List
Those are the sweetest stories! I guess it's not surprising "they know", but its still fascinating.
On a less positive animal story, I read about a nursing home that has a "death cat". The cat lives at the nursing home and is normally aloof. It doesn't really like to hang out with people or like to be petted. But every once in awhile, the staff would be surprised to see the cat had jumped up on to someone's bed and was cuddled up against them.
Then they started to notice a pattern that, every time the cat did this, the person would pass away within a few hours. It is now to the point that, this cat is so accurate with its behavior, they will alert the family to hurry over, as soon as they see the cat jump onto someone's bed.
Yes! I meant "less positive" in that it is about death instead of birth.
When the article was written, the cat was already well known by residents, their families, and the staff. There were quotes from family members who were so thankful they were able to sit at their loved one's bedside during their final hours, because of the cat.
