So we made it up to Reno yesterday and are freezing our arses off! It's snowing now!!
Today is Sarah's first birthday! I can't believe that she's 1 already! It's also DH's birthday! He gets in around noon and we're all going out to lunch with my parents. Our friend from the Bay Area all arrived last night so we're all going to hand out tonight then Sarah's birthday party is tomorrow afternoon then we fly home Sunday afternoon.
A whirlwind weekend!!

We're getting new flooring put in this wkend and I'm sooo excited! Tonight we'll be cleaning out the downstairs where the new flooring is going in. Tomorrow flooring guys arrive and I have a birthday brunch in Newport that I need to make an appearance at. Sun, hopefully the flooring will be done and we're babysitting the baby niece for the day. I'm hoping she'll let me practice some shots with her. Her 1st birthday is coming up so I'd love to suprise SIL/BIL with some pictures of her. THEN sunday night my sisters fly in for their spring break so off to LAX to pick them up. I took Monday off so I could spend time with them. So yes busy wkend but I'm so excited!

Tomorrow I am getting my hair cut. I am so freaking excited. I have been feeling so frumpy. Yesterday I went to the dentist and was very disappointed in the new dentist but at least my teeth are clean now. I am on a mission to re-vamp Kristy. Having a baby can really make you feel ugly!

Today I start volunteering at one of the hospitals up here. I don't know why, but I'm nervous. Sorry I've been a stranger. I can't get on at work and by the time I get home, I need to clean and spend time with the monster and MH. I stalk the board though. Seems like a lot of people aren't posting as much.
Noosh-I got my D80....let's go learn together! What kind of flooring are you getting?
Jenn-I miss you!!! I agree...the board has been a little on the slow side. I think everybody is being better at work because companies are cracking down.

Last night my friend I went and ran errands for a baby shower that we are throwing tomorrow for our friend. I came home and watched amercian idol. Tonight - I am solo again as dh gets back into town but has a bachelor party he is going to. Tomorrow- I have the shower and then going with a friend to check out the new Winco in Moreno Valley. Saturday night probably spend time with family that is coming into town for the weekend.
I was frustrated at this last round till last night. I felt like they were eliminating to many people at once and the result shows were boring.
But I didn't realize they were going to bring back 8 people for the wild card. I was glad to see they got another chance to sing again. I am glad Tatiana is gone! Wohoo! I did really like the blond who got in last night, can't remember her name. It seems like they have a really wide variety of styles this year and everyone is really good.
We're just getting pergo put in, I wanted to get real wood but it ended up being a lot more than we had budgeted and we realized it probably wasnt worth it since we're not sure how long we'll be staying at the condo. Hopefully when we find a keeper house we'll invest in the nicer stuff then but for now pergo is going to be a HUGE step up. The old owners had put in this white shaggy carpet which looked really nice at the time I bought the place but its so hard to keep clean and after 2 yrs of dealing with it, I'm so over it.
I'll definitely be taking before/after pics! Cant wait!

If I could, I would! I'm spending as much time at my best friends' parents, since one is visiting from Arizona. I haven't seen them since the wedding. I'm so excited.

Happy Friday!!Today was more experimenting with my camera. Isabel was actually posing for me, I was so excited I took 120pics in 1/2 hr. Makes me really sad that I still have no idea how to work my camera. Noosh & Jenn too bad we are so far away from each other, we could all learn together
Sat-more party stuff and Sun visiting with my aunt and cousin who flew in from texas to go to my parents party .

Kristy-I totally feel you on the looking frumpy thing. I've lost all the baby weight but my stomach hasn't gone away so none of my clothes fit.
And AI is just weird to me this year. My dad and I are the AI watchers and even he was getting upset that people who were really good were getting kicked off.

Kat - I really recommend getting a copy of Understanding Exposure...a CW and Jenn both recommended it for me. I havent finished it but what I've read so far has already helped me out a lot.
Jenn - Thats so awesome you found your camera on CL! I've been perusing the listings trying to find used lens but so far no luck.
I tend to be in the Upland area once a month or so but I dont think either of you are close to there...it would be nice to have other people to practice with =/
I actually did buy that book plus 2 others, however actually getting a chance to sit and read for longer than 5 min is a prob right now. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure I know where those books are. Man I need to get this place more organized.?

Today was my last day of work for 3 weeks (Spring break)! Tomorrow going down to SD for my cousin's baby shower (and taking my 4-year-old niece with me...wish me luck).

I use both right now. We actually use more disposables than I'd like to, though. I just need to get in a better routine of going to the laundromat to wash.
I have 22 diapers or so. I might buy more but I'm thinking about making my own since I found a pattern I really like.
