YL - would you consider a career out of teaching or writing?
I would. I used to work in advertising, and I know I hate that. I'm not sure if I am cut out for business, but I wouldn't mind working in edcuation somehow even if I wasn't teaching, like working at a university or something.
I've been thinking about this a lot, given my current job situation. :-

I'm excited! It'll be good for us financially and in a few years when the economy gets better (knock on wood) there will openings in the corporate office here again for J.
Boy because I want more than one kid, and I loved having older brothers. BUT of course having a "mini me" to dress up and do "girly" things with would be bomb.

no, no more kids for us. snippety-snip, folks, snippety-snip. besides, i'm too old to chase after more than one toddler at a time.
I never really intended my blog to be so much about food. My blog started off as a general life blog after I blogged about wedding stuff as a beta tester for The Knot.
Later, I decided I exposed my feelings too much and too often to too many strangers, so I shied away from really writing about my inner workings.
I've always liked to eat and have always eaten out a lot. By virtue of my writing less about my internal turmoil and musings, restaurant posts became more frequent on my blog and now account for probably 75% of my posts.

I have no clue. Over 200 at least. I never play with them (still MIB - mint in box) but I look at them a lot. I just received 4 new ones in the mail today. Squeal!

Okay, that's why I didn't ask sooner.
Other than feeling like this is the 11 week hangover that just doesn't quit, things are good, I'm just tired all of the time. Confirmed last week that the baby is healthy & super active -- and that there's only one. Twins were a huge worry as they run on both sides of my family in every generation (my brother was a twin).

Mrs Brock... did you grow up in Orange or move there later in life?
I moved there right after I got married. I grew up in Nor Cal then came down to OC for college. DH and I liked Orange and have friends there so that's where we decided to live when we got married.
