What's up for this week?
Re: *~*HAPPY MONDAY!*~*
You're up so early
It was so damn hot this weekend. I nearly melted under the sun but of course I still didn't get tanned.
This week I am having dinner with a friend, a meeting with someone to help me find a job [insert eye roll], and am hoping to finish reading The Host soon.
My weekend was pretty much filled with studying. I took a few breaks lunch with Vs friends, a massage and a cocktail party that was a good time with great conversations.
This week is my last week of classes before finals so I'm pretty much working and studying my week away....:/
Weekend was pretty good. Last long run Saturday and then furniture shopping and work the rest of the weekend.
This week will be more running and today I'm going to USC to attend a research symposium. I don't have much time to get there, so I'm hoping for no traffic and no getting lost.
Have a good week everyone!
Happy Monday!
The highlight of my weekend was feeding the homeless. The lowlight was getting sick on Saturday night (yay for sore throats
).
This week, I'm looking forward to the OC Marathon on Sunday. I'm praying for comfortable weather.
Weekend was fab, too short, as always.
Friday: dr appt, Eagle Scout dinner
Sat: Baby Depot (total waste, but I got to hang out with a pg friend I havent seen in forever, so that was a plus), dinner out with friends
Sun: Car shopping. Finally bought my "mom mobile." Certified used Honda Accord. Yay!
Geez, Kim... First my neighborhood, then my dining room table, now my car... What next, a big-boned tabby cat??!!
This weekend was great -- DH and I went to LA for our anniversary, ate a billion pounds of great food, including nine different animals, and went to Mass at the cathedral. And I saw Cardinal Mahoney AND Spencer's bar chick from the Dime!
This week I'm going to Hershey, Penn., and DC for work. YAY!
Umm, actually, first was your apartment complex, then your neighborhood, duh! I've had my eye on you since the very beginning... (said in the creepiest stalker-like voice you can think of)
Winnie...I wasn't up early, I just posted before I went to sleep so I could sleep in.
I took today off.
I had an alright weekend.
Friday: Angels game
Saturday: Nap, Yelp Elite party, watched my student's band
Sunday: Total lazy day. Sat around the house and read.
I had a very busy weekend!
Friday - Lola Gaspar for Sangria (yum!), a salsa flight, chorizo flatbread & lamb tacos. I'm in love. we hit a few places in gardenwalk and finished the night at the theater watching "I Love You Man" (meh).
Sat - 6 mile run with the girls, brunch at Plum's and BM dress shopping. Sat night - tailgate & Angel game
Yesterday - driving range, church for our nephew's first communion, IL time, gardening... fun stuff!
busy week, as usual...
The weekend is always too short.
Friday: Sushi dinner date with H.
Saturday: Got my butt kicked by my pilates instructor. Spent the afternoon recovering, then played rummy and Rock Band with the neighbors.
Sunday: Laziness.
So much work this week . . . . . :-(
We spent our entire weekend working in the garage to sort through things (10+ years of crap) & break down some shelving units as we clear things out. I spent a portion of Saturday getting settled back into the rescue & awaiting our foster pup.
This week: "big" ultrasound this afternoon, R's birthday tomorrow.
Socializing foster puppies since 2009

Last week was a blur :-/ I don't remember what we did Friday.
....
OH i do remember. Open house for my new gig. Followed by Happy Hour with H to celebrate new gig.
Sat: Loteria night and ceviche with friends. Good times.
Sun: Slept in. Visited with family. Went to bed early. Someone hand me a cane I'm getting old.
Weekend was pretty quiet which was much needed...
Friday - worked on some wedding invitation design stuff for a client and caught up on DVR
Saturday - went to the mall, found nothing, took a nap then dinner with friends at Lazy Dog Cafe in HB (ive never been and it was pretty good for a chain)
Sunday - became a martha stewart-wannabe and made a frittata and potatoes o'brien for breakfast, baked pasta with chicken & sundried tomatoes for dinner and chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting and coconuts for dessert...my H loved me, especially the part where I made his breakfast in bed. I can be an awesome wife (sometimes).
This week...lots of work!
fri: dinner at the neighbor's house. no homemade sausage, sniff.
sat: stuff around the house, rented a movie and ate bad food
sun: brunch, more stuff around the house, caught up on a bunch of DVR'd shows
this week: purging or hoping I catch the swine flu to lose some extra poundage. my pants are tight.
Good morning!
We didn't do much except the zoo with friends on Saturday followed by dinner and mojitos.
This week I have a ton of work as usual, an 18 month check up, shopping for niece's bday, and I'll fit the gym in somewhere.
Mboc had the best status quote today on FB about swine flu. I sniggled for like 5 mins straight.
Weekend was weird. I was in an unexplainable funk. The upside to that is I start tackling projects I've meant to in ages, like organizing the linen closet and getting rid of old clothes.
Sunday ended well - H decided we needed to drink a bottle of champagne with dinner for the hell of it. And then we watched Role Models, which was hilarious.
you know how I feel about FB, please share her quote.
Weekend was decently peaceful as my houseguests were in SF.
Sat: Friends daughters 1st b day party...then off to my sisters 17th bday party at the beach..bonfire! Talk about a LONG day!
Sun: Lounged around with MH and discussed where we are going to live....glad to know we are on the same page!
This week should be interesting to say the least.
My weekend was crazy and I haven't had a moment to think even.
Now I am back at work *sigh*
Chart/Blog
Nothing breeds faster than Crazy
are you making some drastic change in the near future?
What are you considering??
My weekend was lame, just the way I like it.
Fri: a freaking hot water pipe burst in our house so we had to move a bunch of crap from one side of the garage to the other. Then dinner at a friends' house.
Sat: Got my hair done then spent the day at my parents' house.
Sunday: Church, then went to lunch with ILs
While Dubai is still an option, the IL's feel like they would maybe like to move to the US. So, we are considering Reno, NV and Flagstaff, Az...but on the other end of the spectrum we are also looking into New Zealand. If the IL's did not move to CA they would probably go to Atlanta or Northern Ohio.
We were moving to Dubai not only to live with Zee's family but because our lives would be a LOT slower and easier.....so we will make the decsion of where based on that criteria. But, we dont like to get our hopes up because we are planners, and the IL's are SO NOT!
wow! You have a lot of exciting options. You will definitely be missed if/when you go!
wow, you guys are all over the place!
Flew Virgin America to San Francisco.
Stayed in a $1 hotel room.
Totally fell off a curb.
Busted both of my ankles.
Rode around in a Mini Cooper.
Had the side light of the Mini Cooper fly off.
Went back to the rental car place.
Rode around in a convertible Sebring.
Hiked Muir Woods gimpy-style in ankle braces.
Ate at Michael Mina.
Got a signed menu.
Had room service for breakfast.
Rode around in the Sebring some more.
Ate at Boulevard.
Flew home.
This week will be full of work, as it has been recently.
