Poll: How do you get your movies?
Re: Poll: How do you get your movies?
We've cut back quite a bit lately but have a ton of older (2+ years) movies at home.

Blue Box? Hehe.

We typically rent from Movie Gallery, but I'm trying to convince H to do a Netflix or Blockbuster mailing service thing. After numerous late fees (and buying 2 movies because they were a couple of months late), we'd be much better off doing a mail service.
The past couple we've watched, we've done through Comcast On Demand...at least that way we eliminate late fees.

We don't watch a ton of movies, but when we do we usually rent from Blockbuster. Our grocery store just got a Redbox though and I'm considering making the switch. At $1 a day, it's not a bad way to save a few bucks. Even with the late fees that I always incur, it's still cheaper than Blockbuster
Does anyone know if those boxes ever do Blu-Ray movies? If not, we'll continue paying Blockbuster prices for better quality movies.

I have a Netflix account and DH has a Blockbuster account. We seldom like to watch the same things.
But I also have an account with SwapaDVD.com, where you swap DVD's and just pay shipping. What you receive is yours to keep, or swap again.

"Other" should've been my answer...
I either go to the theatre or buy them. I don't watch enough to rent, and if I care enough to rent it, I'll usually end up buying it anyway, so I just cut to the chase.
We also download rentals direct to our PS3 from the Sony Store.
