I went to the swapmeet the a few weeks ago
and got a cup of coffee with french vanilla creamer. It was very good.
Today I got a coffee at Starbucks with vanilla added and it sucks.
I am so bummed I just can't replicate that coffee at the swap meet. It was delish!
Re: I went to the swapmeet the a few weeks ago
Huge bummer!
There is a world of difference between a regular cup of coffee with flavored creamer and a Starbucks coffee with flavored syrup.
For one thing, Starbucks regular coffee is just gross. I can only drink it in latte form (espresso and milk).
I got a cup of hot choclate once from SB and it was divine. I've bought many cups of HC from SB since and they have all sucked.
I keep trying though!
Do you have time to make the coffee at home? ?
Lately, I just make the coffee at home and add the french vanilla creamer from Coffemate ?- taste better than the vanilla syrup one at SB.
Get the powdered creamer. Lasts forever and really doesn't taste any different. That's all we buy. That way I can keep in in my office and not worry about it getting stolen.
I like the powder creamer better than the liquid kind. I also like to add vanilla flavored soy milk to my homemade coffee. I don't like starbucks coffee with soy milk. It tastes funny to me, but my homemade stuff doesn't.
I think Starbucks plain ol' coffee is so gross because they make it sooooooooo freaking strong. They make it so strong because it's usually dilluted into the other drinks.
Oh, really? I've always wondered about it. Didn't know if it was much different or not. That's good to know. Thank you.
