Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Vent re: Girlfriends
My girlfriends and I decided about a month and half ago to go to Tony and Tina's Wedding (for those that don't know, it's a mock wedding where everything and anything could go wrong, and it's supposed to be pretty funny). So I mailed my check to a friend who was ordering tickets, right around the beginning of August.
I get an e-mail today from the girl who was supposed to order the tickets, saying "we" decided not to go to Tony and Tina's Wedding; "We" thought it would be more fun with more people. I mailed your check back last Saturday.
So, I have been looking forward to this for how long? I went out and bought a new dress, and new shoes. And who is "we", how come nobody asked me? I was really looking forward to this, as I haven't been going out much due to $$ issues.
I don't know why I am letting this get to me. I need new friends.

What a bummer. If I were you I would check with the other girls that were going to go and see if anyone else wants to. Who cares if it ends up just being a few of you...sometimes smaller groups are a lot more fun. Maybe you can convice Mr. Philly to go with and make a date out of it.
