Best gift I ever gave - Nothing insanely thoughtful, but probably either my bpic album or NFL tix so DH could see his favorite team play for the first time.
Best gift I received - (blanking on anything pre-2009) - scrapbook made for me by my best friend and bridesmaids leading up to the wedding.

1. I had a ONS the night I met my husband. The ONS was a guy I hadn't seen in 15 years -- my first boyfriend from elementary school. DH "re-introduced" me to him that night moments after DH and I met. (Complicated?)

3. Currently it's yellow, though may change here for fall. Sunny. Cheerful. Vibrant. Pop.

Favorite thing about marriage. This is going to sound sooo weird and/or cheesy, but I like knowing someone's stuck with me for awhile. There's no games, no second guessing. Things feel more stable and permanent.

I used to love history -- my favorite time period to immerse myself in was the late 1800s -- after the Civil War. But there's a lot to be said about the fun fashion of the Roaring 20s and the free love era of the 60s.

Typical hour: Nest, Gchat, Facebook interspersed with gossiping with colleagues, tracking down new positions/contact info for prospective candidates, and proofreading proposals and mass mailings.
Wearing: Gray sweatpants, white wifebeater, and a blue zip hoodie from ON. Silver flip-flops (ones I wore at my reception actually)

* Morning AND night. I'm more productive in the mornings by far (once I've had my coffee), but lately I've been staying up until 1:30am. I'll go with morning though.
* After shower if shower is the first thing I do in the morning. Today I didn't shower right away, so brushing teeth was the first thing I did.
* I'd take my college bestie. We'd hit up the Maryland shore. I picked her instead of my hs bestie because hs bestie and I can't do a lot of time together without driving each other nuts. The Maryland shore because it's close enough to where we live, and who doesn't love the beach?
