Guys it's not good news Jewelyn
it appears Jewelyn had an embolic embolism last night after the C-section and it's not good news.
Apparently there is no brain activity and Jewelyn is not going going to live.
I have no words. I feel like I'm still dreaming.
Obviously I want to do something for Phillip and Gabby but for right now they are surrounded by family.
He asked me to let you all know and keep Jewelyn and Gabby in your thoughts and prayers.
Re: Guys it's not good news Jewelyn
Sorry it's an amniotic embolism my brain's not working.
I forgot to say that Gabby is at UCLA and they think she's going to be OK.
We can hug our kids, and be greatful that we were lucky enough to love and know our Sushi.
After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
Oh my god. I can't believe what I'm reading.
Thanks for keeping us updated, Amy. I am in tears. I haven't seen J in a couple of years but damn. I'm heartbroken.
My Jewels!
I can't stop crying.
Oh my God. I have no words for this....I am literally crying.
What can I do to help? Anyone know?
I can't believe this. It seems to unreal. Life can be so extrememly unfair.
Irma, thank you so much for calling to let me know. That means a lot to me.
We should start a fund for Phillip and Gabrielle to help with anything. He will need to take time off from work to be with the baby and deal with his grief. Amy, can you do it? If not I will.
That is a great idea! I am sure life is going to be tough for them, even with family around to help.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll help out anyway I can.
I sure will. FB friends can contact me there or send a pm.
This is a great idea. We could set up a Paypal account for them. We could all put something in our siggies that would direct people to the Paypal account, and if we could all blog about it, that would reach a lot more people, too.
Just some ideas...

Definitely a good idea!
I was reading online about fundraisers and here are the ideas I found out there (this is by no means an exhaustive list though!):
Bake Sale
Car Wash
Walk-a-Thon
Pancake Breakfast
Spaghetti Dinner
Working with a Local Radio Station
Restaurant fundraisers- where whomever eats at a certain restaurant on a certain day, 20% of the proceeds go to the fund.
I can also build a website to go towards paypal / CC donations that we could put out there... and maybe we have a bank account set up for G for a college fund or something with a local bank?

All excellent ideas. I hope Jewels knows how much we love her.
