How to convince DH we need a flatscreen?

  • GAH. Stupid TN. Why won't it let me delete a duplicate post? (**side eye to KB**).

That's what happens when you catch a spelling mistake halfway through posting and decide to try and edit it before it goes through. *sigh*.

  • Haha, SBS.  BTW, hate you all with your giant TVs!! I'm deprived!

Funny story: DH was looking over my shoulder at this post last night. He asked what DH stood for, and then he said "You're going to have to work harder" and noted that mofe's suggestion was a very good one.

    Hmm

  • I'm jumping in late, as usual, but my DH is exactly the same way. I've been pestering him to get a flatscreen HDTV and he won't budge. We have a 32" tube that works great, but obviously isn't a flatscreen. My plan is to just buy it myself on Black Friday. I love the Samsung TVs, so I am going to do my best to find a 36" for less than $750. Our living room is small, so I think this would be plenty for us.

  • We have a 60 inch flat screen.  HD...all that jazz.  DH is a nut for electronics.  I think its overkill, but I don't complain when I can see every blade of grass during the Patriots games.  Ours is borderline too big, at least IMHO, but it wasn't a battle I wanted to pick (the price difference was negligible between it and a 42" one or so).  We've been happy with ours.  Its a Sony and we've had it about 2 years with no problems.
